Texas man, 47, is arrested as cops find multiple homemade bombs in his home after he made threats to a family member while going through an 'ugly divorce'

John Christopher Crawson, 47, first got under the radar of the Williamson County Sheriff's Office in mid-January after it was reported that he made the threat, Lt.Jason Braeutigam said at a press conference, Patch.com reports.
Crawson was detained at around 8am at his residence on the 2500 block of Santa Barbara Loop just outside of Round Rock.

At Crawson's home, authorities found 'several' improvised explosive devices. Six homes in the nearby vicinity had to be evacuated.
Officers from the Austin Police Department's bomb unit and the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives reported to the scene to assist in the removal of the explosives.
Braeutigam said that it was currently unclear whether the bombs were made at the home or bought elsewhere. And while authorities would not elaborate on the family disagreement, they did state that Crawson was going through an ugly divorce.RELATED ARTICLES

Crawson was charged with making terroristic threat to a family member.
Neighbors from the community came together to release a statement, expressing their pain at the situation.
'We're very close-knit,' Sonia Guardado said of the neighbors, Austin American-Statesman. 'We're all hurting right now.'Read more:

When her Majesty became Queen in 1952, she also became the head of the Commonwealth of Nations.
Her role has no formal functions, but it is recognised as being one of great symbolic significance and importance.
Queen Elizabeth often appears at events celebrating the nations, such as Commonwealth Day and visiting member countries.
After she took the throne, in her 1953 Christmas message the Queen heralded the future of a new Commonwealth, saying:
"The Commonwealth bears no resemblance to the empires of the past.
