Seven days after his departure, officer Horacio Sebastian Domínguez was remembered by all his loved ones in a solemn ceremony held this Saturday morning at the Florida International University (FIU) Campus.
Family, friends and loved ones gathered to honor the life of the police officer who died in a car accident last weekend.
“A terrible loss, we are shocked with what happened, he died in a work accident. Very cheerful, friendly and servant ”, some remember.Sergeant Domínguez was remembered at a memorial service at Ricardo Silva Stadium on the FIU campus. “We have come to support Margarita, his wife. We are very friends of the wife more than anything, but very heartfelt and hurt. A tragedy ”, recalled some of those present.
“To all the relatives, my condolences because it is a tremendous pain for a wonderful human being,” said Domínguez, who was 43 years old and who lost his life last Sunday morning after his patrol overturned several times.

Dominguez was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the incident, so he was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene, Florida Highway Patrol agents confirmed.
