Kate Middleton said on Friday that she "can't wait" to meet her newborn niece, Lilibet "Lili" Diana.
"I wish her all the very best, I can't wait to meet her because we haven't yet met her yet so hopefully that will be soon," the Duchess of Cambridge told reporters in England while visiting a school with First Lady Jill Biden during the G7 Summit, Reuters reported.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's new baby, Lilibet 'Lili' Diana Mountbatten-Windsor, was born on June 4 at the Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital in California.

Well, she is a grandmother.
The Queen has a photo of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle on display in her home at Buckingham Palace — despite the couple’s contentious exit from the British royal family.
The portrait of her grandson, 36, and Markle, 39, could be seen in the background of Queen Elizabeth II’s meeting with the United Kingdom’s Prime Minister Boris Johnson on Wednesday.
The photo was propped on a table beside other family photos, including one of Harry’s brother Prince William and his wife Kate Middleton, as well as another framed pic of the Queen herself with her late husband Prince Philip.
Relations between Markle and Harry and Buckingham Palace have been tense following the couple’s tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey in March where they claimed members of the royal family had questioned what their son Archie’s skin color would be.
Markle also claimed that the royal family did nothing to help her when she came forward and told them that she’d been experiencing suicidal thoughts as a result of royal life.A closeup image shows a photo of Markle and Harry displayed at the Queen’s home.POOL/AFP via Getty Images
However, Markle and Harry have discussed being on good terms with the 95-year-old monarch, and a royal expert insists that the Queen was uninvolved in the racism controversy.
Things do appear to be solid between the Queen and the couple at this point: She even congratulated Meghan and Harry after they welcomed their second child, daughter Lilibet, earlier this month.Prince Harry and the “Suits” actress, seen here in November 2017, seem to be on good terms with the Queen following their exit from the royal family.WireImage
“The Queen, The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall, and The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have been informed and are delighted with the news of the birth of a daughter for The Duke and Duchess of Sussex,” the spokesperson said.
And as Page Six exclusively reported, Meghan and Harry will be invited to the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee in June 2022 and won’t be “iced out.” Maybe they can squeeze in time for a new family photo.Filed under meghan markle , prince harry , queen elizabeth II , royal family , 6/23/21
