HAY FEVER sufferers are set for more misery this weekend as a pollen bomb could explode as temperatures continue to soar.
Over the weekend there will be several areas where the pollen count is "very high", according to the Met Office.3A pollen bomb is set to hit the UK this weekend with levels high across Yorkshire and the Humber and MidlandsCredit: Getty - Contributor 3Sunday will be the worst day for pollen counts with experts predicting 10 hotspots across the country
Today the pollen count is very high in Yorkshire & The Humber, the East and West Midlands, the East of England, London and the South East and the South West.
Throughout the weekend the North West will also be hit with very high levels, with other Northern areas also experiencing more pollen.
Data from the Kleenex Pollen Forecast also shows that pollen levels across the country are continuing to shoot up just in time for the Euros.
England kicks off their campaign against Croatia on Sunday at Wembley stadium.
Sunny weather and temperatures up to 28C degrees are forecast, which is expected to contribute heavily to higher pollen levels.
While the Met office states there are several regional areas where pollen counts are "very high", Kleenex states there are ten cities where the count will be over 100.3
The severity of pollen levels is measured by Pollen Grains Per Cubic Metre (PPM).
Anything above 342 is considered very high, and while none of the cities are above this measure, they all sit in between 61 and 342 - which is considered as a high pollen count.
Over the weekend Bristol will have the highest pollen count, coming in at 284PPM.
Bristol is followed by Manchester which is set to reach 279PPM, with London and Leeds both measuring in at 263PM.
Leicester will have levels as high as 250PPM.
Belfast and Edinburgh will have 249PPM, Liverpool 243PPM, Glasgow 232PPM, and Nottingham 145PPMTop tips for hay fever sufferers heading out this weekend
If you're still planning on a picnic in the park this weekend, or you're going to watch footy with your mates outside then there are some things you can do to ease your allergies.
Amena Warner, Head of Clinical Services at Allergy UK, has shared advice for hay fever sufferers on how they can manage symptoms.
- Wardrobe choices: Accessories like hats and wraparound sunglasses can stop pollen from reaching face, hair and importantly, eyes
- Allergy balm: Some allergy sufferers find that applying an allergen barrier balm around the base of the nostrils and around sunglasses creates a barrier to airborne allergens
- Have a plan: Check the pollen count before you leave - monitoring pollen levels daily can help you plan ahead to manage your symptoms
- Shower: Pollen can stay on your skin and hair after you’ve been outside, so take a shower as soon as possible when you return home
- Carry tissues: Carry tissues around to blow your nose - this will help remove any pollen that has crept in
Grass pollen season peaks in the first two weeks of June and these peaks, the Met office says may be masked by how wet, dry, warm or cold it is.
But the hot weather being seen across the UK at the moment could intensify the pollen and the Met said it's not yet clear whether this will be one of the hottest Junes on record.
“High pressure is starting to build which should lead to fine and dry conditions, with the occasional showery and thundery outbreaks.
“We’re hopefully looking at what will be a very nice June indeed", a spokesperson said. Most read in Health NewsGRIM FEARMaddie 'was killed hours after vanishing & body will be found in Portugal woods'MYSTERY DEATHPorn star found dead after being trolled for posing topless at Floyd muralCANDID KAMFlustered Kamala SNAPS at reporter when asked when she will visit MexicoGraphic WarningLASHED OUTBirthday girl gets entire EYELID torn off by chihuahua while getting lashes doneREGULAR JOEOff-duty Biden dresses down in running shoes at G7 bar - but only has a CokeROLL HORRORVid shows trooper FLIP pregnant woman's car for going 14mph over the limit
Pollen consultant, Dr Beverley Adams-Groom on behalf of Clarityn also explained which regions would be heavily impacted by the grass pollen season.
Dr Beverley said: "All areas are affected by grass pollen to some extent. Scotland is the mildest region but still receives an average of 11 high days per season.
"Some hay fever sufferers in London can be badly affected by the plane tree pollen season, which has an average of 12 high days.

Kathy Hilton Reveals What Shocked Her the Most After Joining ‘RHOBH
Getty Real Housewives of Beverly Hills stars Sutton Stracke, Kathy Hilton, Kyle Richards and Dorit Kemsley.
Kathy Hilton got a surprise when she joined the Season 11 cast of the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” but it had nothing to do with feuds or cat-fighting among the cast members. In a new interview, the wealthy socialite admitted she was taken aback by how “real” the show is—with the exception of the unreal fashions worn by her co-stars, which include Dorit Kemsley, Erika Jayne
“I thought somebody would be whispering in one of the girl’s ears, or starting rumors, that it would be somewhat manufactured drama,” Hilton admitted to Town & Country. “This is not. I will tell you this: 100% this is real. The crew… it’s like they’re not there. You really forget they’re there, and you become very comfortable. You’ve got these very dynamic, strong personalities, and one thing leads to another.”Hilton Was Stunned By the Glam Showcased By the Housewives at a Barbecue View this post on Instagram

While she’s no stranger to high-end, glamorous fashions, even Hilton admitted she couldn’t believe the way her co-star’s dress for events that would normally have a casual dress code. During the cast’s trip to a rustic Lake Tahoe lodge, Hilton revealed she had to remind her sister, “RHOBH” veteran Kyle Richards, “Kyle, this is not a fashion show.”
“For the first episode, I went to Dorit [Kemsley’s]’s for a barbecue,” Hilton elaborated. “I thought I looked pretty nice; I had on a silk flowy dress and espadrilles. I mean, that’s pretty nice for a barbecue! And I could not believe it. I walked in and all of these women–they looked absolutely gorgeous–it was like New York Fashion week meets Paris couture shows meets the red carpet at the Oscars. Gucci and Balmain and Louis Vuitton and Chanel. Unbelievable.”Hilton Said It Was a “Wonderful’ Experience to Join RHOBH, But She’s Unsure If She’ll Return Next Season
In a recent interview on Bravo’s Daily Dish, Hilton said “it was a wonderful experience” to join the “RHOBH” cast after several cameos on past seasons.
“I went on a few different times [previously], but it was always in a very serious way,” she said. “I think the fans always thought I was a b-tch or something, you know?”
Now that she’s been shown in a more “comical” way, she’s unsure what she’ll do next.
“They show a lot of me, like, not knowing how to plug stuff in, or funny things like that, and I talk in a funny voice sometimes,” she told Town & Country. “People that don’t know me think that’s how I am. It’s just these silly kinds of things. And it’s just so weird to see yourself. This is the first time in my life that I’ve let my guard down”
When asked if she would consider returning for the 12th season of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” Hilton said she wants to see the rest of the episodes before making a decision on a possible return.
“You know what, let’s see,” she told the outlet. “Let’s see how I’m edited.”
