Former First Lady Melania Trump spent two hours Wednesday meeting with foster children and families at the Palm Beach, Florida location of 4KIDS, a group that provides services to that community.

Trump made crafts with the young kids and provided them with gifts for the Thanksgiving holiday.

She also led a discussion with young adults, who have aged out of foster care but live in homes provided by the group.

Finally, she toured 4KIDS' therapeutic center where foster kids and families can seek additional support for trauma.

Trump made her visit known by tweeting out several photos from the visit from her Melania Trump Twitter account, which is still active despite her husband's ban from the social medial platform.

'This #Thanksgiving I want to express my gratitude to the families who open their hearts & homes to foster children & to those who serve in the child welfare community,' the tweet said. 'Thank you 4KIDS for working tirelessly to ensure the health & safety of these children.'

She concluded the tweet using the hashtag #BeBest, which was her White House initiative that focused on the well-being of young people, as she took on issues such as vaping and cyber-bullying.

The visit was timed for Thursday's holiday.

'The visit certainly had a Thanksgiving theme where Mrs. Trump expressed her appreciation and gratitude to the foster parents and 4Kids staff who play such an important role in the child welfare community,' her spokesperson said.

'4KIDS was honored to host Mrs. Trump in our Palm Beach office to share how we are bringing hope, homes, and healing to kids and families,' Kevin Enders, President and CEO of 4Kids, told DailyMail.com in a statement.

'Our families and young adults were blessed to share their stories and experiences with her during the visit,' he continued.

'We are thankful for how generous Mrs. Trump was with her time and for blessing our guests with gifts for Thanksgiving,' Enders added.

In recent weeks, the former first lady has stepped out more publicly.

She was the guest of honor at a Log Cabin Republicans gala earlier this month that took place at Mar-a-Lago, where she's resided since her husband left office in January.

The couple does move north to Trump's Bedminster resort during the summer months.

Melania Trump also attended the America First Policy Institute fundraiser, which also took place at Mar-a-Lago.

Jorginhos penalty gives Chelsea 1-1 draw against Man United

LONDON (AP) — Ballon d’Or contender Jorginho made amends for an error leading to Manchester United’s goal with an equalizing penalty for Chelsea in a 1-1 draw in the Premier League on Sunday.

Jorginho was around the halfway line when he failed to control Bruno Fernandes’ hooked clearance from the edge of the United penalty area five minutes into the second half. Jadon Sancho nipped in to seize possession and race through on goal before netting his first Premier League goal since his offseason arrival.

The chance for Jorginho to come to Chelsea’s rescue came when Aaron Wan-Bissaka caught the back of Thiago Silva’s leg when clearing the ball.

Jorginho, who missed a penalty when Italy failed to qualify for the World Cup automatically earlier this month, found the target this time — sending goalkeeper David de Gea the wrong way in the 69th minute.

Jorginho will discover on Monday whether he has won the Ballon d’Or — European football’s top individual prize.

Manchester City beating fourth-place West Ham meant Chelsea’s lead was cut to one point.

A week after Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was fired by United, Michael Carrick has a win — at Villarreal in the Champions League — and this draw against the Premier League leaders from his matches as interim caretaker manager.

After losing five of its last seven league games under Solskjaer, United moved within five points of the fourth Champions League place — a welcome platform for Ralf Rangnick to build on. The German is set to take charge until the end of the season after a work permit has been secured.
