BARCELONA are reportedly targeting SEVEN signings this summer - regardless of the dire financial situation at the club.

Manchester City ace Bernardo Silva and Sevilla defender Jules Kounde are also on the shortlist, according to Mundo Deportivo.

It's claimed Barcelona have formulated a financial plan that allows them to sign all three players, ideally before their pre-season tour to America begins on July 16.

Barca are expecting a cash injection from TV rights, plus licensing and merchandise, over the next month.

There is also the potential of funds from the sale of Frenkie de Jong.

Barcelona and Manchester United remain locked in talks over a move for the Dutchman with the Spanish side demanding £74million.

Lewandowski, 33, is said to have already agreed personal terms with Barca after confirming he wishes to leave Bayern Munich, and Mundo Deportivo claim all that is left is for the clubs to agree a fee.

Bernardo, 27, is also admired but will only be targeted if De Jong does end up leaving leave for Old Trafford.

Xavi sees Bernardo as the perfect replacement for De Jong.

Kounde on the other hand is a top priority, despite the 23-year-old being strongly linked with Chelsea.

Barca chief Joan Laporta is said to be considering a player-plus-cash deal, which would include sending right-back Sergino Dest to Sevilla.

Franck Kessie and Andreas Christensen are expected to arrive on free transfers, although Financial Fair Play rules are currently said to be preventing them from being registered.

And finally Chelsea duo Marcos Alonso and Cesar Azpilucueta are also being eyes on cut-price deals.

The pair are both out of contract next year, but SunSport exclusively revealed Azpilucueta wants to leave this summer.

Seven in 10 voters do not think Biden should run for reelection: Poll

Over 70% of voters do not want President Joe Biden to run for a second term, according to a new poll.

Just 29% of voters would back a reelection bid for Biden, whose approval ratings have been slipping in recent months, and 71% would discourage a run for a second term, an uptick from the 64% of adults who said Biden shouldn't run again in a mid-June poll conducted by YouGov and Yahoo.

“President Biden may want to run again but the voters say ‘no’ to the idea of a second term, panning the job he is doing as president. Only 30 percent of Democrats would even vote for him in a Democratic presidential primary,” Mark Penn, co-director of the poll, told the Hill.

But former President Donald Trump does not fare much better, with over 60% of voters polled saying he should not run in 2024 and only 39% saying he should run again, according to the Harvard CAPS-Harris Poll.

The disdain for both candidates was evinced by 60% of respondents saying they would consider an independent candidate if Trump and Biden ran again in 2024.

While Biden's approval ratings have hit new lows, he also scored low marks on many key topics. He received a 28% approval rating on inflation, a 32% approval rating on the economy, a 43% approval rating on jobs, and an overall approval rating of 38% in the new poll.

The poll was conducted on June 28 and 29 with 1,308 registered voters, according to the pollster.
