Data released by the agency on Tuesday showed the region’s pavement condition index (PCI) was at 67 out of 100 points for the fifth straight year.     CHICAGO (CBS) — Another mass shooting struck Chicago when four people were hit by bullets in Jackson Park, just east of Woodlawn. According to police, around 1:30 a.m. Saturday, the four were at a large gathering in a park in the 1600 block of East Hayes when someone fired shots into the crowd. Each victim was hospitazlied at the University of Chicago Medical Center. An unidentified man was shot in the right leg and listed in serious condition. A 52-year-old woman was shot in the face and listed in fair condition. A 19-year-old man was shot in the right arm and listed in fair condition. And a 20-year-old woman was shot in the left leg and listed in fair condition. Police are searching for the shooter.
    CHICAGO — Eight people were shot while using a party bus Wednesday night in the Old Town Triangle, making it the third mass shooting in just a few hours in Chicago. The shooting happened 11:57 p.m. in the 1600 block of North LaSalle Street. The victims were using a party bus when someone in a dark gray Jeep Grand Cherokee fired shots, police said. Three people were seriously or critically wounded, police said. It was not immediately clear if they were on the party bus or were outside it when they were shot.     CHICAGO (CBS) — One of the worst injuries from Sunday’s tornadoes happened at a home in Naperville. It is hard to believe the couple inside survived because the tornado leveled the house.     A year-and-a-half after nearly being shot and killed during a brazen afternoon attack and chase just outside his hometown of Chicago, Lil Reese has been shot once again. The rapper, 28, was among three people who were shot Saturday morning in a parking garage connected to a luxury high-rise condominium in the River North neighborhood of Chicago, according to CWB Chicago.     CHICAGO (CBS) — A woman was left in fair condition Thursday night after being struck by a car in Bucktown. At 9:17 p.m., the woman was crossing the street – but not in a crosswalk or with the light – in the 2000 block of North Damen Avenue, near Armitage Avenue, police said. She was hit by a small black sedan headed south on Damen Avenue, which kept going and has not been seen since, police said. The victim was taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in fair condition, police said. Area Five detectives and the police Major Accident Investigation Unit were investigating late Thursday.

The crash happened around noon in the southbound lanes of the 1600 block of North Lake Shore Drive. Chicago Fire Department officials said a total of eight people were injured.     CHICAGO (CBS) — Two men and a woman were wounded in a drive-by shooting early Saturday morning in Englewood. Police said the victims were sitting in three different cars during a gathering near 70th and Peoria around 4 a.m., when someone in a passing vehicle started shooting. A 27-year-old man was shot in the arm, and was taken to University of Chicago Medical Center in fair condition. Another 27-year-old man was grazed in the back, and refused medical attention at the scene. A 49-year-old woman was shot in the lower back, and drove herself to Provident Hospital, where she was in fair condition. No one was in custody Saturday morning. Area One detectives were investigating.
    CHICAGO (CBS) — Chicago police said three people were shot Friday afternoon in the 1100 block of North Western in the city’s Ukrainian Village neighborhood. Authorities said three people were inside a business when two men opened the door and opened fire and then fled. An 18-year-old was struck to the ankle and he was transported to Stroger Hospital in fair condition. A 20-year-old was hit in the thigh and ankle and he too was transported to Stroger in fair condition. A 52-year-old woman was struck to the thigh and leg and transported to Mt Sinai in fair condition. CPD said no one is in custody. This is a developing story.  
    CHICAGO (CBS) — An 8-year-old boy and three men were shot and wounded Wednesday night in the North Lawndale neighborhood. The victims were standing on the sidewalk in the 700 block of South Karlov Avenue, near Fifth Avenue, when someone in a black sport-utility vehicle came out and fired shots, police said. The 8-year-old boy was taken to an area hospital in fair condition with gunshot wounds to both legs, police said. A 26-year-old man was shot in the top left arm, another 26-year-old man was shot in the left leg, and a 36-year-old man was also shot in the left leg. All were also hospitalized in fair condition. Late Wednesday night, no one was in custody. Area Four detectives were investigating.  
    CHICAGO (WLS) -- Two people were wounded in a shooting in Chicago's River North neighborhood Friday morning, police said.A 22-year-old man was driving in the 100-block of West Superior with a 21-year-old woman as a passenger when police said two white sedans boxed their car in.A man got out of one of the cars and fired multiple shots at the car, wounding the woman in the leg and arm, police said. The driver, who has a valid FOID car, returned fire and shot the 23-year-old gunman in the leg.Police said the victims drove away but were again found by the two white sedans that sideswiped their car, causing it to crash into a building in the 100-block of West Huron.The woman was transported to the hospital in fair condition. The suspect that was wounded in the shootout was transported to Northwestern Memorial Hospital in fair condition.The remaining suspects are not in custody. Area Three detectives are investigating.
