Later in December, Barr announced that substantial enough evidence of voter fraud had been found to overturn the official results of the election. "To date, we have not seen fraud on a scale that could have affected a different outcome in the election," Barr said at the time. Barr specifically addressed one conspiracy theory that certain voting machines had been programmed to change the results of voter ballots in order to favor Biden. "There's been one assertion that would be systemic fraud and that would be the claim that machines were programmed essentially to skew the election results. And the DHS and DOJ have looked into that, and so far, we haven't seen anything to substantiate that," Barr said at the time. Speaker Nancy Pelosi was heckled as she wrapped her House floor speech on Friday night. Pelosi spoke as the House continued to debate key legislation that is finally coming up for votes. As of this posting, Democrats are still talking amongst each other and some progressives are planning to vote no over concerns about commitments on the separate Build Back Better spending bill. In the middle of her speech Pelosi heard laughter and immediately shot back, “Did I hear a laugh from those who added $2 trillion in tax cuts for the richest people in America, 83 percent of it going to the top 1 percent?” As the Speaker wrapped her comments and urged a yes vote, there were some boos from the Republican side of the aisle, and Congressman Brian Mast (R- FL) shouted “You’ll get an Emmy for that one!” Minutes later Mast apparently got into a fierce shouting match with Congressman Salud Carbajal (D- CA) over the legislation. Carbajal reportedly called Mast an idiot. During recess, GOP Rep. Brian Mast & Dem Rep. Salud Carbajal have a...

At this point all fair-minded readers — even if they despise former President Donald Trump — are wondering how Rather will handle the years of profanity-rich anger aimed at Trump by celebrities and everyday folks alike. Well, allow ol' Dan to oblige: To be sure, many Democrats have said some form of "F- Donald Trump." There was even a rap song to that effect. We all have a right to free speech. But when Republican elected representatives say "Let's go Brandon" to end a speech on the House floor, like Bill Posey, a Republican from Florida did, or wear a "Let's go Brandon" facemask, like South Carolina Republican Jeff Duncan did, or when Ted Cruz can't get enough of it, something else is going on. This is a movement that has engulfed the party, and party leaders think they can use it to effectively rally their voters. The sad truth is that they are likely right. Did you catch Rather's one-sentence defense of Democrats who did the same thing Biden-haters are doing now? "We all have a...

White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki scolded Newsmax reporter Emerald Robinson for shouting questions at the end of briefings, and Robinson snapped back as Psaki exited the podium on Monday. At Psaki’s most recent briefing, the press secretary wrapped up by telling reporters that the administration stands by its comments about the “horrific” treatment of Haitian asylum-seekers that was captured in photos and on video last week. “I don’t think anyone could look at those photos and think that was appropriate action or behavior or something that should be accepted within our administration,” Psaki said. “There’s an investigation. That’s ongoing. We’ll let that play out. But our reaction to the photos has not changed,” she added. Wednesday’s edition of The Five went off the rails during a segment on the crisis at the southern border. The trainwreck began when Geraldo Rivera misinterpreted a comment by Greg Gutfeld about how the media and Democrats are neglecting rising crime rates in U.S. cities. Gutfeld accused them of “ignoring rampant violent crime that started last summer.” He added, “All of our cities our degraded, dangerous,” but was interrupted by Rivera. “Oh wait,” interjected Rivera. “Stop, Geraldo,” said Gutfeld. “Let me finish. I let you talk for god knows how long.” Gutfeld finished his point, but later in the segment Rivera revisited his remarks, and implied Gutfeld was suggesting the migrants would commit crimes if allowed in the country. “I have to rebut what Greg said about Haitian immigrants and crime,” said Rivera, who challenged his cohost to find evidence linking Haitian immigrants and rises in crime, which was not alleged by Gutfeld, who understandably became agitated: GUTFELD: Oh my god. You are so wrong, Geraldo. RIVERA: What does crime have to do with these people? You know what their...

LONDON (AP) — Four men were charged Monday for allegedly shouting antisemitic abuse while driving around in a convoy in north London. The suspects, all in their 20s and from the northwest English town of Blackburn, are accused of using threatening, abusive or insulting words likely to stir up racial hatred on May 16 when they were driving in cars draped in Palestinian flags. The president walked through the neighborhood with local New Jersey officials including Sen. Cory Booker, observing the damage caused by record flooding from the remains of Hurricane Ida. As he walked around the streets littered with storm debris, Biden was soon confronted by angry shouts from people in the area. Media cameras caught a group of people shouting over the fence at Biden as he met with homeowners in the area. One of them was holding a Donald Trump flag. “It’s sad. It’s sad that America has come to this. It’s despicable,” a woman shouted. Another man expressed his frustration that his friend died in Afghanistan only to watch Biden abandon Americans in the country. “Best friend died in 2011 Afghanistan for what?” he asked. “This guy to pull this shit?” Others shouted, “Leave no American behind!” Secret Service agents blocked the group from coming any closer to Biden. “You shouldn’t be protecting tyrants,” a woman shouted. The Colorado Rockies have determined a fan did not shout a racial slur during the team's game against the Miami Marlins on Sunday.  The club found no evidence that a racial slur was directed at Miami Marlins outfielder Lewis Brinson during the game at Coors Field in Denver, team sources told The Athletic. The result of the team's investigation into the matter was also confirmed by a number of local media outlets in Denver.   The fan in question was instead shouting the name of the team's mascot "dinger" — a shorthand baseball jargon word for a home run — when his voice was captured on a television broadcast of the game.  On Sunday afternoon, video of the man shouting was widely circulated on social media. Many listening to and watching the video thought the man had shouted a racial slur at Brinson, a Black player in the batter's box at the time of the shouting.  The video promoted the Rockies to issue a statement on Sunday evening.  "The Rockies have zero tolerance for any form of racism or discrimination, and any fan using derogatory language of...

The fan was heard shouting during the ninth inning, when Lewis Brinson was at bat, but Rockies officials say the man was actually yelling at the mascot. A New Jersey gym owner on Friday became the first person to plead guilty to assaulting a law enforcement officer during the Jan. 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol.Scott Fairlamb's deal with federal prosecutors could be a benchmark for dozens of other cases in which Capitol rioters clashed with police. Fairlamb's attorney said prosecutors will recommend a prison sentence ranging from about 3 1/2 to 4 1/4 years, but the judge isn't bound by that term of the plea agreement. His plea comes less than two weeks after a group of police officers testified at a congressional hearing about their harrowing confrontations with the mob of insurrectionists. Five officers who were at the Capitol that day have died, four of them by suicide. The Justice Department has said that rioters assaulted approximately 140 police officers on Jan. 6. About 80 of them were U.S. Capitol Police officers and about 60 were from the Washington, D.C., Metropolitan Police Department.Fairlamb, a former mixed martial arts fighter whose brother is a U.S. Secret Service agent, was one of the very first rioters to breach...

An aide to Rep. David McKinley (R-WV) has filed an ethics complaint against freshman Rep. Madison Cawthorn (R-NC). It is unclear what the complaint alleges, but it comes after a verbal spat between Cawthorn and a staffer for McKinley on Thursday that preceded what Politico described as a “shouting match” between Cawthorn and McKinley. It all began when Cawthorn, 25, went to the office of McKinley, 74, to ask that his name be removed from a bill. McKinley was not in his office at the time, and Cawthorn ended up getting into a verbal altercation with an aide, according to some on McKinley’s staff. During the exchange, Cawthorn allegedly asked if McKinley “was that guy with the mustache that nobody fucking knows.” On Thursday night, Cawthorn approached McKinley on the House floor and asked, “What is your name?” One Republican source told Politico that McKinley replied, “You know damn well who I am.” The elder Republican took issue with Cawthorn’s treatment of his aide and repeatedly called the freshman congressman “junior.” According to Cawthorn, McKinley refused to remove his...
One of the witnesses to testify on Tuesday at the first U.S. House select committee to investigate the January 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol recalled supporters of then-President Donald Trump telling him, “Your mother’s a whore.” Daniel Hodges, an officer with the Metropolitan Police Department of the District of Columbia, said in his opening testimony that, as Trump supporters walked from the Ellipse outside the White House toward the Capitol, he “noticed a commotion about half a block to my east and saw a crowd starting to coalesce around two figures.” “I ran to where they were and found a confrontation at the intersection of tenth and Constitution Avenue northwest. One counter protester, a black man, was backpedaling away from a white man on a Trump-labeled face mask, was closely following him with an outstretched arm,” recalled Hodges, who said that he and a colleague “first arrived and physically separated the two.” As that happened, said Hodges, “a crowd of Donald Trump’s people had gathered, they attempted to bait the counter protester into attacking, shouting insults such as ‘Your...

"I was joking, it's not like I was serious," he said on his P.T.S.D podcast. "The cameras were there [in the car] so I was like I'm just f**king with them there at that point "I'm like, 'y'all can't record me'.
