Concerned visitors at the Lianyungang zoo on the eastern coast of China captured the heartbreaking pictures of the "dying" animal on November 28. 1Staff at the zoo said the tiger was recovering from stomach problemsCredit: AsiaWire The once-majestic animal is pictured lying on the stones within its enclosure with its stomach completely sunken in. Minnesota Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins had one of the strangest moments of his NFL career Sunday afternoon and that’s saying a lot for someone who concocted a bizarre plexiglass solution to Covid a few months ago. As the Vikings attempted to mount a late comeback against the San Francisco 49ers, Cousins scrambled to get his team set for a crucial 4th and goal play with just 9:09 left in the game. As Cousins frantically directed his team in the backfield, he desperately tried to beat the play clock by getting the snap off, but embarrassingly lined up behind his guard instead of under center. With the clock nearing zero, running back Alexander Mattison rushed toward Cousins to correct the gaffe, but it was too late. The quarterback was forced to burn a timeout after he lined up behind an offensive lineman who didn’t have the ball. Maybe the hilarious blunder was part of some larger plan to try and get the 49ers to jump offsides? Nope. Cousins was just frazzled and lined up under the wrong lineman. He might not...
THIS is the shocking moment a raging horse savages a sheep to death by throwing it around like a rag doll. In a clip, posted to Reddit, the aggressive stallion slams the helpless animal on the ground multiple times before stamping on its lifeless body. 3The horse savaged the sheep in the minute-long footageCredit: Reddit 3The untamed horse slammed the sheep multiple times on the groundCredit: Reddit The video begins with one man backing away from a wild horse as it frantically jumps just meters away from the group. The horse picks then up the injured sheep before repeatedly throwing it on the ground. In one part of the video, the sheep's head becomes clear and the wool around its face is dyed red from blood. Towards the end of the video, the sheep remains lifeless as the horse tramples around it. Then, in one last act of horror, the horse stamps on the body of the sheep - ensuring its demise. Viewers expressed their horror at the video with one writing: "Easy to forget how powerful horses...
POLICE have apprehended a woman who allegedly tried to run out on the tarmac at Los Angeles International Airport. The woman apparently tried to wave at a plane, according to an eyewitness. 2The woman kept trying to wave at the plane while being taken awayCredit: @tezlynfigaro /Twitter A video posted to social media shows the woman being taken away while she attempts to wave at the plane near them. The woman keeps resisting the airport workers trying to take her away from the situation as she repeatedly tries to walk closer to the plane. She appears to have a backpack hanging on her arm while holding what looks like a pillow in her other hand. During the incident, it doesn't seem that the woman could be heard screaming but it's likely that it wouldn't have been heard given the distance the video is taken from. Another clip showed airport police searching through the women’s bags after the incident. In this video, the woman is surrounded by police and acts calm as her items are being searched. Most read...
A newly-released batch of exhibits and transcripts from the investigation into former Gov. Andrew Cuomo include a series of new revelations about CNN host Chris Cuomo. The texts and transcript show the larger-than-known extent to which the CNN host advised his brother and appeared to run interference for him. Among the shocking new details, Chris told the governor’s staff that a friend of his appealed to actor Alec Baldwin to record a rant on Instagram against “cancel culture,” which was purportedly meant to be a defense of Andrew Cuomo. ‘My friend asked him to do it,’ Chris wrote, in a text to Andrew’s former top aide Melissa DeRosa. ‘Very close to him.’ In testimony for the investigation, the CNN host claimed that he, through the friend, implored Baldwin not to get involved. I know Alec Baldwin. So does Andrew. I have a very good friend who is named here, who called me said, “Alec wants to talk about cancel culture or political correctness.” I asked him not to. I said, “Tell him to stay out of it. It’s not...

Climate campaigners and other progressive critics on Friday called out the Biden administration for a new U.S. Interior Department report about leasing public lands and waters to oil and gas companies, slamming its proposals as far too weak given the need to keep fossil fuels in the ground. The report—prepared in response to President Joe Biden's Executive Order 14008—recommends adjusting royalty and bonding rates, prioritizing leasing in areas with known resource potential, and avoiding regions where drilling conflicts with conservation, historical and cultural resources, recreation, and wildlife habitat. "Releasing this completely inadequate report over a long holiday weekend is a shameful attempt to hide the fact that President Biden has no intention of fulfilling his promise to stop oil and gas drilling on our public lands," said Food & Water Watch policy director Mitch Jones in a statement. the ol' black friday release\n\nclassichttps://www.nytimes.com/2021/11/26/climate/climate-change-drilling-public-lands.html\u00a0\u2026 — Chris D'Angelo (@Chris D'Angelo) 1637951200 Despite the president's campaign pledge to ban new oil and gas leasing for public lands and waters, the administration last week auctioned off 80...

Almost one in three Republican voters still believe that former President Donald Trump will be reinstated before the end of the year, according to a new poll.  The Economist/YouGov poll was conducted between November 6 and 9 and surveyed 1,500 Americans and found that 28 percent of respondents thought it likely or very likely that Trump would return to power before the year was out. That is an increase from 22 percent the month before.    It suggests that far from fizzling out, the 'big lie' that Trump was unfairly robbed of election victory and will be returned to the White House is gaining strength. Some 13 percent of Republican respondents said it was 'very like' Trump will be reinstated with 15 percent saying it was 'somewhat likely.' Overall, just 16 percent of respondents said they thought he would return by the end of 2021.  Trump himself reportedly told close allies during the summer that he would be restored to power this year as he fought a string of ill-fated legal battles to overturn the result. An Economist/YouGov poll found almost...

SHOCK videos appear to show Russian tanks, armoured vehicles and troops massing near Ukraine amid fears Vladimir Putin may be preparing an invasion. US officials have privately alerted their European allies about the possibility of an attack - which would be the culmination of a long-running bitter feud with Ukraine. 4 Footage shared on social media platforms appears to show staggering amounts of Russia military gear parked up near the city of Voronezh. SAN JOSE (KPIX) — The CEO of American Airlines called a recent attack on a flight attendant “one of the worst displays of unruly behavior we’ve ever witnessed.” Now the Association of Professional Flight Attendants is calling for the Federal Aviation Administration and Department of Transportation to prosecute violators and ban them from every airline. “We need passengers to feel safe onboard an aircraft whether that is with the virus or whether that is knowing it’s going to be safe and they’re not going to be attacked or witness an attack that puts the airplane in jeopardy at 35,000 feet,” said the association’s spokesperson Paul Hartshorn Jr. On Wednesday, witnesses on board the American Airlines flight from JFK Airport to John Wayne Airport in Orange County said a passenger punched a flight attendant twice in the face. The assault, Hartshorn Jr. said, left the woman with broken bones in her nose and face. He said the flight attendant bumped the passenger before the male suspect got out of his seat and approached her in the galley. A witness said the...
In a Facebook post on the horrific incident, Ruby Steele — interim CEO for the Grand Canyon Resort Corporation and member of the Hualapai Tribe, which owns and operates the Grand Canyon Resort Corporation — added, "The Hualapai people consider the canyon a place of sacred beauty and healing, and we are devastated by this tragedy. Our team joins in thoughts of peace as a journey to healing begins for the individual's family, guest of Grand Canyon West, and our staff." The post concluded, "If you're thinking about suicide, are worried about a friend or loved one, or would like emotional support, call The National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 800-273-TALK (8255)." What else? A September article from Backpacker's Emma Veidt reports that at least 12 people per year die at the Grand Canyon — mostly as a result of airplane crashes, falls, overheating, or drowning. That month, Oregon hiker David Colburn unintentionally fell 50 feet to his death during a hiking trip in the canyon. His body was found and recovered the next day. Colburn, fire...

The National Institutes of Health has defended itself after shocking images were widely circulated showing beagle puppies being eaten alive by sand flies in experiments allegedly funded by the NIH. The Maryland-based organization on Monday evening told DailyMail.com that the pictures of the dogs with their heads enclosed in netting - being attacked by the flies as part of research into leishmaniasis, a serious parasitic disease transmitted by sand flies - were not from their experiments. The NIH said that they did do leishmaniasis research on dogs in a laboratory in 2016, and in an enclosed open space in Tunisia, but not the research pictured. 'The images of beagles were drawn from a manuscript published in July 2021 in the journal PLOS Neglected Tropical Diseases,' a NIH spokesman.  'The manuscript mistakenly cited support from NIAID, when in fact NIAID did not support this specific research shown in the images of the beagles being circulated.' The White Coat Waste Project published shocking photos of beagle puppies with their heads locked in mesh cages so sand flies could eat the dogs. The National...

"Glad Dr. Mengele never had me fooled," she added. Candance also aligned Dr. Fauci with Gates, saying both men "reek of pure evil" and imploring followers to "Trust your gut, not the media." She followed up with another tweet speculating on Dr. Fauci's reported medical research background and morals. "Reading through Dr. Fauci’s experiments and the one I find most alarming is the use of an acid to destroy a region of monkeys’ brains to magnify terror,"...
In their book "I Alone Can Fix It," Washington Post reporters Carol Leonnig and Philip Rucker take an in-depth look at former President Donald Trump's final year in office. Rucker has continued to report on the end of Trump's presidency in the Post, and during an appearance on MSNBC this week, he discussed Trump's efforts to pressure members of Congress Pence to overturn the election results in the days leading up to January 6. Rucker told MSNBC's Andrea Mitchell and fellow guest Joyce White Vance (a former federal prosecutor), "There was a days-long effort at the command center at the Willard Hotel, which was just a block away from the White House — where folks like Steve Bannon, John Eastman, Bernie Kerik, the former New York police commissioner, were trying to create this pressure campaign on members of Congress to believe their allegations of voter fraud. There was not, of course, evidence to support those claims. Yet there they were at that hotel, reviewing these claims, trying to fan the flames of dissent." Those "flames" included the crowd of Trump...

That I had done something wrong," she told the news outlet.  Her doctor checked routine blood work, but when everything came back normal, she thought she had an undiagnosed food allergy that was causing excessive bloating, so she started experimenting with her diet, but nothing helped stop the weight gain, according to the report.  After almost eight months of not improving, she was referred to a gastroenterologist. "By the time I saw my GI [gastroenterologist] doctor, my stomach was hard as a rock," she recalled. "My mom said you could have punched me in my stomach and broken your hand it was so hard."  The doctor immediately did a full workup,...
