(CNN)The US Food and Drug Administration granted full approval this week for the Pfizer/BioNTech Covid-19 vaccine for people 16 years of age and older. This is the first of the coronavirus vaccines to receive full approval from the FDA.What does full approval mean for those who are already vaccinated? What about for those who have yet to vaccinated — could it help to reduce hesitancy? Does it have any impact on expediting vaccines for younger children? To help us with these questions, we turned to CNN Medical Analyst Dr. Leana Wen. Wen is an emergency physician and visiting professor of health policy and management at the George Washington University Milken Institute School of Public Health. She's also author of a new book, "Lifelines: A Doctor's Journey in the Fight for Public Health." CNN: What does "full approval" mean? How does it differ from what the vaccine's status was before? Valve has confirmed that it is working with AMD so that Steam Deck has full compatibility with Windows 11. This is good news for those who do not want to limit themselves to SteamOS, the operating system that will be offered by default with the portable console, but which could present problems running modern titles such as PUBG and Fortnite. Because the Steam Deck is basically a computer, all types of software can be installed, including other operating systems. However, questions remain as to the true compatibility with Windows 11 and its complex hardware requirements. In an interview with PC Gamer, Steam Deck designer Greg Coomer has clarified the picture. “We are working on the TPM,” Coomer said, referring to the controversial security chip that is required in Windows 11. He also added that they are in discussion with AMD to make sure the Steam Deck is compatible with the aforementioned BIOS-level component. “There is nothing that tells us yet that there are going to be problems with Windows 11,” said the Valve team member. A woman who admits she looks unrecognisable without make-up has sparked a heated debate over whether wearing heavy cosmetics is a form of catfishing. Posting anonymously on Mumsnet, the woman, who lives in the UK, explained she receives more attention from men when she's wearing make-up than when she goes without any products on her face. She said many of her friends have boyfriends who've never seen them without make-up, suggesting they have feelings for someone who looks entirely different bare-faced. Many responses argued make-up shouldn't be considered a form of catfishing because it isn't as deceptive as using old or edited photographs, however others agreed it can give an entirely different appearance.   A woman who admits she looks 'completely different' without make-up has sparked a debate about using cosmetics to deceive others (file image) Posting on Mumsnet, the woman explained she has friends who have never let their boyfriends see them without makeup Asking for opinions, the woman wrote: 'Okay hear me out. A fascinating new book has revealed how punctuation and symbols have developed over thousands of years.   Claire Cock-Starkey's new non-fiction Hyphens & Hashtags explores how punctuation such as full-stops, commas and exclamation marks have come to be part of our day-to-day writings. While the question mark is believed to come from Ancient Egypt, where they chose to use the shape of an inquisitive cat's tail, the hashtag has its origins in the shorthand used by medieval scribes for the Latin libra pondo, which translates as 'pound by weight'. Here, in this extract from Hyphens & Hashtags, which is out now, Brits can get a new understanding of the everyday symbols and the truth behind their origins.,,,   A new book is uncovering the stories behind everyday symbols has been released, from the origin of the ampersand to the 'most expensive hyphen in history'  In an apocryphal story which first appeared in William S Walsh's Handy-book of Literary Curiosities (1892), Victor Hugo was said to have instigated the most concise literary correspondence in history. NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell says that he expects stadiums to return to full capacity for the coming 2021 season. In comments reported by NBC’s Pro Football Talk, Goddell said the league expects to “Welcome back fans across the country at all NFL stadiums.” “All of us in the NFL want to see every one of our fans back,” Goodell added. “Football is simply not the same without the fans, and we expect to have full stadiums in the 2021 season.” NBC notes that in-person attendance during the NFL’s 2020 season was a mere 1.2 million fans. By contrast, in 2019, 16 million fans attended games. Goodell did not say if the league will require fans who want to see games in person to be vaccinated, nor did he elaborate on what other rules might be out in place for the coming season. Not long ago, Dr. Anthony Fauci said that he also thought that the NFL could welcome fans back at full capacity this year. Still, Fauci did not have a very bright outlook for the Super Bowl. In February...
As the NFL tries to get back to some sense of normalcy next season, Roger Goodell has announced that stadiums could be at full capacity. Last season was unlike anything we’ve ever seen in the sports world, but COVID-19 seemed like it had a unique effect on the NFL. It makes sense given that the NFL has larger teams and is harder to quarantine or replicate the ‘bubble’ experience that all other leagues seemingly were able to pull off much better. Still, players, coaches, and fans alike made it through the grueling season and now hope to get back into the swing of these this year. The league allowed about 22,000 on hand at Raymond James Stadium for Super Bowl LV. The stadium has the capacity to seat over 65,000 fans but the NFL’s league-wide in-person attendance health and safety guidelines were strictly enforced. Goodell says todays virtual league meeting included discussions about welcoming back fans at every stadium. They had 1.2 million fans – safely, he notes — in 2020. Now, in 2021, the plan is all stadiums full. A...

New York Governor Andrew Cuomo's administration finally published the full list of nursing home deaths in the state after months of resisting demands to release the data on COVID-19-linked fatalities Governor Andrew Cuomo's administration on Thursday finally published an updated list showing the totals of all nursing home deaths linked to COVID-19. After a judge ordered New York State’s Department of Health to comply with a Freedom of Information request, the updated list added more than 4,000 deaths to the state’s official tally as of Thursday. The new official total of deaths of nursing home residents who were either confirmed to have contracted COVID-19 or presumed to have come down with the illness stood at 12,743 - 50 per cent higher than the state previously acknowledged. Cuomo has come under fire for months for the state's nursing home policy, which was blamed for thousands of COVID-19 deaths after the governor signed an order last year requiring the facilities to readmit patients discharged from hospitals.  For the first time, the newly updated data released by the state included some 4,000...
Oaxaca.- Better late than never and La Maquina was finally able to close its squad with which it will compete in this Clausura 2021, and for Juan Reynoso there is no excuse for not including his reinforcements in the call, who expect to see minutes before the Rays. Although none of the new incorporations will start against the necaxista team, it is a fact that the coaching staff feels calm and with a greater arsenal to manage the team according to their needs. It should be noted that the Cruzazulino team already had a deep squad, but in the final matches they lacked ideas up front. That is why the returns of Pol and Montoya will boost an offense that just a few months ago was the most explosive in the League. BLUE CROSS Pol Fernández and Walter Montoya in a training session | BLUE CROSS In that sense, it is expected that the pair can enter change in the final stretch of the match. Although they have worked hard, neither of them is...

Individual investors - who own the rooms - have been told they will have to help cover a $9 million loss on the rooms in order to keep the hotel afloat.  Trump hotel executives told investors this week that rising Covid-19 infections were once again driving down their business, putting an end to a brief fall improvement. In order to break even, the Trump hotel needs to be at about 70 percent full, with guests paying $600 per night, according to the Washington Post.
