Republican Senators Rand Paul and Ted Cruz snapped back at Anthony Fauci for remarks he made in a TV interview Sunday responding to GOP criticism of the infectious disease expert. In an interview with CBS News' Face The Nation, President Joe Biden's chief medical adviser also dismissed Republican criticism of his work as 'lies' and agreed with the notion that GOP lawmakers were using him as a scapegoat. 'Anybody who spins lies and threatens and all that theater that goes on with some of the investigations and the congressional committees and the Rand Paul's and all that other nonsense, that's noise... I know what my job is,' Fauci told host Margaret Brennan.  Paul responded in a tweet Sunday: 'The absolute hubris of someone claiming THEY represent science. It's astounding and alarming that a public health bureaucrat would even think to claim such a thing, especially one who has worked so hard to ignore the science of natural immunity.'   Texas Senator Ted Cruz also had harsh words in response to Fauci's criticism.   Brennan told Fauci, 'Senator Cruz told the attorney general...
Kyle Rittenhouse trashed his former attorneys, including President Trump ally Lin Wood, for raising money for themselves and accusing him of being in a militia during his much-anticipated interview with Tucker Carlson that aired Monday. Wood and John Pierce, who helped raise the bond money to get Rittenhouse released from jail after his arrest last year now want their cash back, but the 18-year-old Antioch, Illinois resident’s family is refusing.   Rittenhouse, 18, told the Fox News host that Wood and John Pierce raised money on his behalf while he was in jail. But he claims that while the lawyers had raised enough bail money by mid September, they chose not to post his bail because they wanted to use him for their own cause. 'I was in jail for 87 days,' Rittenhouse said. 'Lin Wood was raising money on my behalf, and he held me in jail for 87 days, disrespecting my wishes, put me on media interviews which I should never have done, which he said, 'Oh, you're going to go talk to The Washington Post,' which was not...
A group of four black men known as the 'Groveland Four' were posthumously exonerated in a Florida courtroom after they were wrongly accused of raping a 17-year-old girl at gunpoint in 1949.  The four men -  Charles Greenlee, Walter Irvin, Samuel Shepherd, and Ernest Thomas - who ranged in age from 16 to 26 - had been accused by Norma Padgett in 1949 and sparked a manhunt throughout the small town of Groveland, a town 30 miles west of Orlando. Black residents suffered racist violence, with a mob hunting down Thomas and killing him by shooting him 400 times. Shepherd was shot dead by cops two years later while being driven to the rape trial.   But the now 72-year-old case has finally been settled with all four men after Administrative Judge Heidi Davis dismissed the indictments of Thomas and Shepherd, both of whom were shot dead in the wake of the allegations, and setting aside the convictions of Greenlee and Irvin.  The members of the Groveland Four were previously pardoned by the Florida Clemency Board, which was led by Governor...
An elite $54k-a year private boarding school in Georgia has settled a lawsuit with 20 students who claimed they were sexually assaulted by their English teacher decades ago. Roger Stifflemire, was both a teacher and 'dorm parent' overseeing students between the ages of 13 and 17 at the Darlington School in Rome, Georgia where he allegedly assaulted the male students during the 1970s and 80s. He was employed at the school between 1974 to 1994. The students, who are now in their 40s and 50s, sued the school in 2017 after the first allegation was made public. They had claimed that Stifflemire had 'groomed' them, performed oral sex on them, catcalled them and even took them on weekend trips to a private ski club.  The victims have settled with the school for an undisclosed amount, but with the condition that the school prevent further sexual assaults against children.   The now-retired Stifflemire, 80, now lives in Alabama and has always denied the allegations made against him.  Former English teacher and 'dorm parent' Roger Stifflemire was accused of sexually assaulting male students...

A new documentary has made the explosive claim that senior US Army officials lied to the public and the families of four special forces soldiers about the circumstances of their deaths in an ISIS ambush in Niger. The ABC News film, 3212 Un-Redacted, is set to be released on Thursday through Hulu, offering an in-depth investigation of the October 4, 2017 massacre near the village of Tongo Tongo. Killed in the overwhelming ambush by scores of ISIS fighters were four members of Operation Detachment Alpha Squad 3212: Sergeant La David Johnson, Staff Sergeant Jeremiah Johnson, Staff Sergeant Bryan Black, and Staff Sergeant Dustin Wright.   Top military brass including General Thomas D. Waldhauser, then head of US Africa Command, claimed that the squad had gone rogue and conducted an unauthorized capture-kill mission targeting an ISIS subcommander, while claiming they were conducting simple reconnaissance.  But documents and interviews revealed in the new documentary suggest that in fact, Squad 3212 was following direct orders, and that military leaders appear to have been covering their own tracks, according to a review of the film by Rolling Stone. New York Times columnist Tom Friedman spoke candidly Wednesday night about why he believed Democrats were struggling in election campaigns in states like Arizona and Virginia.  "The party has gone too far to the left for this country that is still center-right and center-left," Friedman said during an appearance with CNN host Anderson Cooper. For example, Friedman said, the death of George Floyd in police custody in May 2020 captured the attention of the public for a need to make real changes in policing throughout the U.S.  – but he claimed progressive Democrats squandered the opportunity by proposing ideas that the public rejected. HANNITY: US IN A ‘DANGEROUS STATE OF DECLINE’ UNDER BIDEN "They were really open for a both-ends solution -- both better policing and more policing in neighborhoods that are really suffering from terrible gun violence," Friedman said about American public opinion. "And what did the progressives offer first? Defund the police and delegitimize police," Friedman continued. "What a wasted moment. The country was ready for a both-ends civil rights movement and it was squandered. I’m sorry." Friedman...

Three Texas women who were seen in a video allegedly attacking a hostess at famed NYC restaurant Carmine's were arraigned in Manhattan on Tuesday. Sally Rechelle Lewis, 49; Kaeita Nkeenge Rankin, 44; and her niece Tyonnie Keshay Rankin, 21, appeared at Manhattan Criminal Court to each face two counts of third-degree assault, attempted assault and harassment. The three are accused of attacking an Asian hostess at Carmine's on the Upper West Side on September 16 in a dispute over proof of vaccination requirements at the restaurant. The women claim they were racially profiled and called the n-word by the hostess - allegations which the restaurant has categorically denied.  The three face up to a year in prison. They were released on their own recognizance Tuesday after the brief arraignment hearing in Manhattan, and are due back in court on November 18.    'We greatly appreciate how seriously the district attorney's office is taking this attack on our staff,' said a spokesperson for Carmine's told the New York Post. Former DHS Sec. Kirstjen Nielsen Federal immigration officials lie, and they do it all the time. The latest confirmation stems from a lawsuit launched by journalist Bob Moore and his outlet, El Paso Matters, that sought further information into “metering.” This was a practice escalated by the previous administration where Customs and Border Protection (CBP) unlawfully turned away asylum-seekers at ports of entry, claiming supposed capacity issues as an excuse. Advocates have long insisted those claims were complete bullshit. They were right. “Records obtained by El Paso Matters, along with a watchdog report and evidence presented in the lawsuit challenging metering, show that the capacity excuse often was untruthful,” Moore reports. Data obtained through the lawsuit revealed that border officers “routinely turned back” asylum-seekers even as enough space to process hundreds sat empty. Moore and El Paso Matters’ investigative work confirms what advocates like Annunciation House founder Ruben Garcia had long believed but couldn’t outright prove. “We knew, we knew, we knew [that the capacity explanation was untrue], and there was nothing that we could do about it,” he told El Paso Matters.  In one example from June 2018,...

The emails reported by the Post suggested that Joe Biden had repeatedly lied about not being involved in Hunter Biden's overseas business dealings and raised questions about Biden's conduct as vice president. However, the Post's reporting was censored by social media companies like Facebook, which suppressed the articles distribution, and Twitter, which outright banned users from sharing the article. Facebook claimed that its fact-checkers needed time to review the accuracy of the Post's report while Twitter said the news story violated its Hacked Materials Policy. Meanwhile, many mainstream media news outlets either refused to discuss the Post story or attacked the story as Russian disinformation. Politico in October 2020 reported a letter from more than 50 senior intelligence officials who accused the Hunter Biden emails of having "all the classic earmarks of a Russian information operation." After that report, Joe Biden's campaign insisted that videos, text messages, and emails from Hunter Biden's laptop were a Russian hoax. Biden claimed during one presidential debate that "50 former national intelligence folks" told him it was a "Russian plant." Anything else?Journalist...

The short message Prince William shared to mark Prince Harry's 37th birthday yesterday shows the brothers still have 'icy' relations, a royal expert has claimed.  Royal author Duncan Larcombe told The Sun that Prince William, 39, did the 'bare minimum' to mark his younger brother's special day as he celebrated across the pond in California.  The second-in-line to the throne shared: 'Happy Birthday Prince Harry,' yesterday on the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's Twitter and Instagram account. This very 'simple' birthday wishes come after Finding Freedom author Omid Scobie - who penned the biography with Carolyn Durand and released an updated version last month - said Duke and Duchess of Sussex are 'making very little progress' in reconciling with the royal family. A Republican congressman from Tennessee has claimed that Afghan refugees are being given 'free reign' of the military base in Virginia where they're being housed as their Special Immigration Visas are processed. Rep. Mark Green wrote a letter to Secretary of State Antony Blinken on Wednesday claiming that an anonymous source from Fort Pickett told him that the refugees have even been allowed to leave the base in Ubers unchallenged. The allegations made by Green, a combat veteran who served in the U.S. Army in Iraq and Afghanistan, have not been confirmed.  Most Afghan refugees, who helped the American military during the War on Terror, are being housed in third-party countries before their arrival in the United States.  Some, who were in latter stages of their approval process for their SIVs, have completed at least partial vetting and were taken to military bases in the U.S. to complete the process after they were deemed safe enough to be on American soil.  Rep. Florida officials have promised to pay for parents to move their children to private schools if they are 'bullied' for not wearing face masks in schools. The Florida Department of Education approved an emergency rule Friday to hand out private school vouchers to any parent wanting to take their children out of public schools that have enforced mask mandates.  Such vouchers, offered through the Hope Scholarship, are usually used to move children from schools where they are the victims of bullying. Under the emergency measure, the vouchers can now be used to move students out of school if they are subjected to so-called 'COVID-19 harassment' - where parents say a school's mask mandate or other COVID-19 restrictions amount to harassment and discrimination of their children. This marks the latest round of the fight between Governor Ron DeSantis and local school boards in Florida.    Last Friday, DeSantis issued an executive order banning schools from issuing mask mandates for students when they return to class next month and vowed that Florida will not introduce any new COVID-19 restrictions. The governor threatened to withhold state funding from...

Political commentator Dave Rubin is firing back at Twitter after the tech giant locked him out of his account for allegedly violating its policy on spreading coronavirus misinformation. "Everything I said in that tweet is true," Rubin told Fox News in an interview. "Every single thing that I said in that tweet was true and this is a complete continuation of silencing any sort of dissent, anyone that questions the narrative is in a lot of trouble when it comes to Big Tech and we better fight it because we're running out of time." The tweet that landed "The Rubin Report" host in hot water was in response to the Biden administration's evolving response to the pandemic.  TWITTER EXPLODES AFTER PSAKI URGES BIG TECH TO UNITE ON BANS FOR ‘MISINFORMATION’ SPREADERS "They want a federal vaccine mandate for vaccines which are clearly not working as promised just weeks ago. People are getting and transmitting Covid despite vax. Plus now they're prepping us for booster shots. A sane society would take a pause. We do not live in a sane society,"...
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are 'on the charm offensive' to prove to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex that they're happy and 'not trapped', a royal expert has claimed.  Prince Harry, 36, - who revealed yesterday he is releasing a tell-all memoir, sensationally claimed earlier this year that his brother Prince William, 39, and his father Prince Charles are 'trapped' in the system of the British monarchy during a bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey.   Royal biographer Duncan Larcombe, who wrote Prince Harry: The Inside Story, told Closer magazine: 'William and Kate have kept a dignified silence but now they're letting their actions do the talking.  'It's almost as if they're sending a secret message to Harry and Meghan saying, "We're going to keep going, we're still here, we're not backing down, we're carrying on". It's a message to Harry that life continues – with or without him.'  Prince William and Kate Middleton, both 39, are 'on the charm offensive' and sending a subtle message to the Duke, 36, and Duchess of Sussex, 39, that they're happy and 'not...

When asking for suggestions, Erin told her: "I implemented a three-bites rule: three small bites and they wouldn’t have to eat anything further of it if they didn’t want to." She further explained that "even with this, I didn’t really force the issue too much." The devoted mom claimed that she and her partner would give their kids...
TWO incensed mothers have blasted an Ohio private school for allegedly expelling their daughters after they pushed back against critical race theory. Columbus Academy sent a letter to Andrea Gross and Amy Gonzalez telling them that their children will not be re-enrolled at the school, where tuition costs up to $30,000 a year. 4Andrea Gross and Amy Gonzalez's children were expelled from the schoolCredit: Fox News Officials accused the pair of leveling "false and misleading attacks" against the school and its leadership through an "inflammatory" campaign about critical race theory. The parents claimed the school was attempting to "indoctrinate" students with left-wing ideologies. They also made claims that students were being subjected to bomb-sniffing dogs on campus. The school said their actions were a breach of their contract with the institution, in which both parties promise to nurture a "constructive working relationship." Two of Gross' children were enrolled in the school and one of Gozales'. In a letter sent to the parents, the school claimed the pair caused "pain, and even fear for physical safety, among students, families, faculty, and...
Amid defenses and recriminations following reports of dysfunction in the office of Vice President Kamala Harris is a concern among some Democrats that the political figure most prominently positioned to succeed Biden isn't up to the task.   Some Democrats fear that Harris, despite being in the public eye as Biden's partner and four years as a senator from California, might lack the ability to keep the White House.  A Democratic operative told Axios – which ran an explosive story that drew furious pushback Friday –  that the issue isn't: "'Oh, no, our heir apparent is f***ing up, what are we gonna do?’ It's more that people think, 'Oh, she’s f***ing up, maybe she shouldn't be the heir apparent.'"  Of particular concern is whether Harris, who has struggled to control the narrative on border issues Biden put in her portfolio, would be able to reassemble the coalition that drove Biden to victory in 2020. Senior White House staff rushed to defend Vice President Kamala Harris amid a welter of criticism that her office was dysfunctional and complaints that staff were not...
by Rose Williams  A Minnesota professor recently debated in an editorial published by The New York Times whether it is “fair” to read his daughter classic children’s books because they are set in a natural world that is now “vanishing.” Paul Bogard, an associate professor of English at Hamline University in St. Paul, wrote in a recent opinion piece, “The wild world my favorite books had encouraged me to love has been under assault.” The books he refers to are “Where the Wild Things Are,” “Swimmy,” “The Story of Babar,” “A Snowy Day,” and “Make Way for Ducklings.” “I found myself wondering if reading these books to my daughter would in a way be a lie,” Bogard writes. “Was it fair to tell her stories of healthy ecosystems and the steady seasons to which we’ve become accustomed?” Bogard claims he experiences a “steady undercurrent of ‘solastalgia,’” which he describes as “distress caused by environmental change.” Bogard writes that roughly two-thirds of the world’s wildlife has been lost, and oceans are “increasingly imperiled.”...

A Philadelphia food festival was condemned for banning an Israeli food truck on 'safety' grounds after telling the small business owners they feared its presence would trigger violent protests.   The city's A Taste of Home protest announced the food truck - Moshava Philadelphia - was no longer welcome to attend just a month after Moshava launched its business at the very same event.    Moshava's cancellation triggered a huge backlash, with supporters insisting that A Taste of Home would have happily hired security to protect any other nationality that had received such threats. It ultimately led to the entire event being canceled, although a statement by organizer Sunflower Philly did not apologize, or say whether Moshava would be welcomed when the food festival returns.  The statement - itself condemned on social media - read: 'Our mission at EUTB, is to uplift as many passionate small businesses in the Philadelphia areas as possible. 'We want to provide a platform where we can gather around a table to share history, culture, language, and most importantly, FOOD. Israeli street food business Moshava Philadephia...
Writer Andy Ngo denounced Antifa and detailed an alleged assault against him in Portland, Oregon, last week in a series of Twitter messages posted Wednesday night. He also spoke about his ordeal during an appearance Wednesday night on Fox News' "The Ingraham Angle." Ngo claimed he wore a mask in Portland last Friday and tried to infiltrate Antifa to learn more about the group – but suspects he was discovered because he held back from joining others in "criminal activity." "Then they pulled off my mask and my goggles and shouted ‘That’s him! Get him! Get him!' And I ran for my life in downtown Portland in the middle of the street. There was no police," he told host Laura Ingraham. He then claimed he was beaten until he could reach safety inside a downtown hotel. A top Mexican politician sparked much controversy after he claimed on social media that a group of gunmen with rifles stopped him as he and other politicians drove along a border area highway. A series of videos and photographs that were released soon after appeared to disprove the claim by revealing the gunmen were, in fact, cheering supporters. Mario Delgado, a national leader with Mexico’s MORENA party, took to social media this week to claim that he along with other politicians traveled from the border city of Matamoros to Reynosa. He claimed a group of gunmen with rifles in an SUV pulled up next to them, forced them to stop, and threatened them. Delgado made the claims on a video where he said he and others with him were not harmed during the encounter. He tried to highlight the border violence in Tamaulipas — a state under the control of a rival National Action Party (PAN). MORENA is the party started by current Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador. In response to the claims, the Tamaulipas government sent out...

Whoops. One of the people carrying out the election “audit” in Maricopa County, Arizona, kinda sorta admitted yet another big error in that drive to discredit President Joe Biden’s win in that state and set the stage for further efforts to delegitimize the 2020 elections. Arizona Senate President Karen Fann had accused county officials of deleting data before handing it over, a charge the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors fiercely rebutted this week, writing that “the failure of your so called ‘auditors’ to locate data files on the copy they made of the County’s server speaks more to their ineptitude than it does to the integrity and actions of our dedicated public employees who effectively and accurately run the elections in the fourth largest county in the United States.” Donald Trump seized on the accusation of deleted data, claiming, “The entire Database of Maricopa County in Arizona has been DELETED! This is illegal and the Arizona State Senate, who is leading the Forensic Audit, is up in arms.” And then, on Tuesday, the founder of CyFIR, one of the companies working on the “audit,” admitted...

Vancouver police have apologized after five officers wrongly handcuffed and detained a retired black judge while he was out on his morning walk.  Selwyn Romilly - who made history as the first black judge appointed to British Columbia's Supreme Court back in 1995 - was strolling along the Stanley Park foreshore on Friday morning when cops pounced.   They claimed Romilly matched the appearance of a dark-skinned assault suspect aged between 40 and 50 who was lurking in the area. Romilly is 81 years old.  The retired judge told CBC he was placed in handcuffs for about a minute and that he was left 'embarrassed' by the incident as the park was packed with people.  'They said they got a report and I fit the description of a person. Without much ado, they told me to turn around and put my hands behind my back and put me in handcuffs,' he told the publication.  In a separate interview with The Vancouver Sun, he stated: 'I told them I was a retired Supreme Court judge. I don't know whether that made them...
