OLEKSANDR USYK shot up the world heavyweight leaderboard after his stunning victory over Anthony Joshua last year. Ring Magazine's rankings of the world's top fighters now has the Ukrainian second to only Tyson Fury. 2 Both stars hold world title belts, with Fury putting keeping WBC crown after defeating Deontay Wilder last time out. TYSON FURY has been named in Ring Magazine's latest top ten pound-for-pound rankings. But four of the seven judges disagree with the Gypsy King's inclusion. 2Tyson Fury has made it into Ring Magazine's top 10 pound-for-pound rankings despite resistance from some judges Fury has taken Teofimo Lopez's spot after the American's shock defeat to George Kambosos. The Gypsy King made light work of Deontay Wilder the last two times the pair have met which has seen him recognised. The only heavyweight to feature is Oleksandr Usyk, who comes in at No 2 after his dismantling of Anthony Joshua last month. The Ukrainian wrestled the WBA, IBF and WBO belts from AJ with his unanimous points victory at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. That victory put the former cruiserweight king and now heavyweight champ behind only Canelo Alvarez on the P4P rankings. OLEKSANDR USYK has jumped to second in Ring Magazine's top ten pound-for-pound list after victory over Anthony Joshua. It leaves only Mexican superstar Canelo Alvarez ahead of the new unified heavyweight champion. 1 Usyk had been in fourth, with Japanese Naoya Inoue, 28, second and American Terence Crawford, 34, third. But the unbeaten pair have now dropped down a place each to make way for Usyk, 34, following his 12 round masterclass against AJ. Still, it has not been enough to knock off boxing's top attraction Canelo, who has won titles in FOUR divisions, and currently reigns at super-middleweight. Scotland's Josh Taylor, 30, is as high as fifth, above 27-0 Texan Errol Spence Jr, 31, who has not fought since September 2020. OLEKSANDR USYK remains the only heavyweight included on the Ring Magazines's top ten pound-for-pound rankings. New York Magazine reacted to the Tuesday shootings in Atlanta by wondering aloud if the heinous acts would put gun control over the top. NY Mag’s column began by tracing the route of gun control to this point. They noted the House passed H.R. 8 and H.R. 1446 last week. H.R. 8 is universal background check legislation and NY Mag observed: “The last time legislation aimed at the gun-show loophole made it to the Senate floor — in a 2015 compromise proposal supported by [Sens.] Joe Manchin [D-WV] and Pat Toomey [R-PA] with a “family friend” exception for gun sales — it won only four Republican votes, counting Toomey’s, despite overwhelming bipartisan public support. NY Mag then noted, “So long as the filibuster stays in place, there is no reasonable hope that enough Republicans will support any sort of firearms bill unless it’s somehow blessed by the gun lobby as pro Second Amendment.” They then threw the Atlanta shooting into the equation and asked, “Will the fresh violence in Atlanta change the calculus in Washington?” NY Mag concluded by suggesting that gun...

In a celebration of lunch, Food & Wine magazine has come out with a list of the best sandwiches in every state. And, in a move that supports the list’s acumen, they didn’t try to say which restaurant serves the best sandwich in New York - that debate may never be settled. Can you guess what the top sandwich in New York is? What makes a sandwich the “best” in each state, according to Food & Wine, is how iconic the food is. Visual appeal, trends, and availability were not considered. Also not allowed on the list: burgers, hotdogs, burritos, tacos, and barbecue. Sandwich legends only, the magazine said. New York is known for several sandwiches - the Reuben, chopped cheese, over-stuffed deli sandwiches, and bagel and lox. But New York’s best sandwich, according to Food & Wine, is the thick-cut, hot pastrami on rye. The magazine will send you to Katz's Delicatessen on East Houston Street for one of the best, most-authentic NY pastrami on ryes around, but people here know there are excellent lobster rolls to be had...
By Rodolfo León 0 COMMENTS 02/09/2021 3:01 pm Besides being an excellent director, Quentin Tarantino he usually shares several movie reviews often. One of the last films that the filmmaker analyzed was Joker, starring Joaquin phoenix and directed by Todd Phillips. Tarantino spoke with Edgar wright in the podcast of Empire Magazine, and it was here that he rated Joker like a “a little monotonous” movie. However, the director also revealed what his favorite scene is from the entire film and here you can read what he said about it: “Subversion, at its best, achieves a response in the audience and an effect on the screen, making the atmosphere of the cinema change.” The scene in the Joker talk show contains all of this on a deep level, a level that infiltrates the minds of the viewers. It is not suspense, it goes beyond that. They are all inside. If you see this movie on the plane, if you watch it streaming, you haven’t seen this fucking movie “ Of course, Tarantino refers to the end of the...

Liberal publication Mother Jones removed Tara Reade, who rocked the presidential primary race last year with a sexual assault allegation against Joe Biden, from a list of the "Top Ten Lunatics of 2020" after the decision to include her in the first place was blasted by critics.  Reade went public last year with her claim that Biden assaulted her when she served as a staffer in his Senate office in 1993. She had previously come forward with seven other women in April 2019, accusing the future Democratic nominee of inappropriate touching. Rachel Cook stunned many of her 3 million Instagram followers on Tuesday, December 8, with her most recent share. The former Playboy model took to the popular social media platform to post a couple of hot new photos that featured her in a teenie-weenie bikini that put her feminine figure front and center. The two snapshots captured Cook in a wooden structure as she rocked a white two-piece bathing suit that contrasted with her sun-kissed skin. The garment was made from a textured fabric that gave it an interesting effect. It included a triangle top with small cups that showed off plenty of her cleavage and thin straps that tied into bows right on her shoulders. Cook teamed the top with a pair of matching bottoms that also tied into bows. For the first picture, she tugged at the side strings, pulling them up high. The front sat low, flaunting her tight stomach. Cook rocked dark hair in this series, which she parted in the middle and wore styled down. View this post on Instagram A post shared by...

Problems continue at the media empire behind the National Enquirer, where the head of Men’s Journal will be furloughed on Friday and the guy replacing him will still have to do his job as head of celebrity magazine Star. Micah Abrams, editor-in-chief of the health and adventure magazine founded by Jann Wenner in 1992, is among the A360 Media staffers who have been told they will stop getting paid effective Nov. 20. — marking the company’s third round of furloughs since the pandemic began. Replacing Abrams will be James Heidenry, former editor-in-chief of beer-and-babes magazine Maxim who’s more recently been editor-in-chief of several celeb magazines, including Us Weekly, OK! and Star, where he is currently. Kemp announced that the State of Georgia has shattered its own record by being named No. 1 for business climate for the eighth consecutive year by Site Selection magazine.
