Prince William ‘will be enraged after The Crown filmed Princess Diana revenge dress scene only 800 yards from his Kensington Palace bedroom’, sources have claimed. The Netflix series recreated the evening Princess Diana, played by Elizabeth Debicki, stepped out in an off the shoulder, tight black dress in a break with royal protocol after Prince Charles admitted to adultery on television.  The scene was filmed in the same spot in Kensington Gardens that Diana arrived at a dinner at the Serpentine Gallery in 1994 - a  position that can almost be viewed from Prince William's bedroom and is only 800 yards away, the Sun reported.   Industry insiders have claimed William will be 'enraged' by the decision. 'They could have chosen any location to recreate the scene, but they opted to select a spot which can almost be viewed by William from his bedroom window.'          The high-profile fifth series of The Crown is set to feature controversial issues such as the divorce of Prince Charles and Princess Diana, the fallout from Diana's death and and entire episode dedicated to Martin Bashir's 1995...

Prince William criticized space tourism this week, saying that innovators should be focused on saving Earth, not looking for a new planet to inhabit.  "We need some of the world's greatest brains and minds fixed on trying to repair this planet, not trying to find the next place to go and live," William told the BBC in an interview airing Thursday. "I think that ultimately is what sold it for me - that really is quite crucial to be focusing on this [planet] rather than giving up and heading out into space to try and think of solutions for the future." He said he is also concerned about the carbon cost of space flights.  In this undated photo provided Tuesday, Oct. 12, 2021, Britain's Prince William, right, speaks with journalist Adam Fleming during the recording of an appearance on the program BBC Newscast, at Kensington Palace, London, in which Prince Williams discussed climate change ahead of the inaugural Earthshot Prize award ceremony on Sunday. As the UK tabloid media fulminates this week over the idea that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry may be plotting to escalate their attacks on the royal family in his new memoir, the director of a recent documentary on Harry and Prince William has offered up reasons for why the couple were justified in deciding they no longer wanted to be at the mercy of a  “racist, misogynist, xenophobic press.” Richard Sanders, who directed  “Harry and William: What Went Wrong?” on ITV this month, also writes about how the mixed-race former TV actress has been wrongly portrayed in the tabloids as a narcissistic, conniving social climber. Instead, he said his investigation of her found she is a smart, steely and racially conscious product of a California suburban upbringing, who simply didn’t want to continue being part of an institution that was in “an unholy alliance” with a toxic media. “This was a person who would never accommodate herself to having the Daily Mail appoint itself the arbiter of her every life choice,” Sanders wrote in an essay for Byline Times....

Princess Diana's brother believed that rogue reporter Martin Bashir planted a listening device in her Kensington Palace apartment to gain her confidence. The author Sally Bedell Smith recorded the revelation in notes she made when she  interviewed Earl Spencer for her 1998 biography of Diana. Diana herself had believed a bug had been planted in her flat by the security services and had professionals in to check for listening devices.  Ms Bedell Smith's notes record Earl Spencer's belief that a device was put in Diana's apartment by Bashir to make her believe her suspicions were well-founded, according to The Times. Earl Spencer reportedly said that he was told by members of Diana's staff that Bashir went into her apartment with his 'anti-bugging team' before pulling a device from her radio.  The notes also record that Earl Spencer said he believed Diana would have done the interview without encouragement from anyone else - but only after Bashir had 'very cleverly' fed her 'insecurities'. The new revelation comes after Earl Spencer last night demanded that Scotland Yard investigate the BBC over her...
