    (CNN)A 13-year-old boy who was manufacturing and selling so-called "ghost guns" has been arrested after he allegedly shot and killed his 14-year-old sister with one of his own homemade firearms, according to the Douglas County, Georgia, Sheriff's Office.Two people had come to the family's home in Douglasville, about 20 miles west of Atlanta, on November 27 to purchase a gun that the 13-year-old made, Douglas County Sheriff Tim Pounds said in a news conference livestreamed by CNN affiliate WGCL Wednesday.But instead of buying the firearm, the pair stole the gun from the 13-year-old and fled the scene, the sheriff told reporters. The shooting happened Wednesday in the 2200 block of South 7th Street. Police said 55-year-old Eloise Harmon, of Jackson Street, was shot five times in the chest. When they arrived, they found two gunshot victims at the scene.One was pronounced dead at the scene. The other survived after being rushed to a local trauma center.     (CNN)A 43-year-old certified nursing assistant was fatally shot at a Philadelphia hospital early Monday morning, and the suspect was a coworker of the shooting victim, police said. Police were called to Thomas Jefferson University Hospital just after midnight in response to a report of a shooter on the ninth floor, Philadelphia Police Commissioner Danielle Outlaw said. When officers responded, Outlaw said, they learned the certified nursing assistant (CNA) had been shot by another hospital employee, who left the hospital in a U-Haul van.About an hour later, someone near 40th Street and Parkside Avenue flagged down nearby police and said a man wearing scrubs was firing a weapon, Outlaw said. When additional officers arrived, the suspect began shooting at them, and all four officers fired back, the police commissioner said.     PILSEN — Almost a year after police shot and killed a man in Pilsen, his family has filed a wrongful death suit against the city and the officers involved. The family of Miguel Vega filed a federal lawsuit Friday alleging the 26-year-old was unarmed and running away from officers when they shot and killed him last year.  Officers Matthew Krzeptowski and Zachary Kuta are named in the suit. On Monday afternoon, the city’s Law Department said in an email it had not yet been served with a complaint and would not comment further “as the matter is now in litigation.”  About 10:45 p.m. Aug. 31, 2020, officers in an unmarked squad car were driving in the 1300 block of West 19th Street when they saw five people standing on the sidewalk.     A California mother fought off a mountain lion with her bare hands after it attacked her five-year-old son and dragged him across the front lawn. The 65-pound mountain lion came across the boy outside his home in Calabasas, in Los Angeles County, on Thursday and 'dragged him about 45 yards,' said Capt. Patrick Foy, a spokesman for the California Department of Fish and Wildlife.  The boy's mother had heard the commotion from inside and rushed to his aid, 'punching and striking the mountain lion with her bare hands' until it let go of her son and fled, Foy said.     A toddler accidentally killed his mother with a shot to the head after finding a loaded handgun in their apartment and firing it at her while she was on a work related video call, according to police in Florida.
