The estate of Daunte Wright, a 20-year-old Black man fatally shot by a White police officer during an April traffic stop, was slapped with a third lawsuit on Monday – this time on behalf of a woman whom Wright allegedly choked and attempted to rob at gunpoint back in December 2019.  The new litigation comes a day before jury selection is expected to kick off Tuesday at the Hennepin County Courthouse in the trial for ex-Brooklyn Center police Officer Kim Potter, who is facing manslaughter charges in connection to Wright’s death. The shooting sparked protests when tensions were already high in the Twin Cities amid the trial for ex-Minneapolis police Officer Derek Chauvin, later convicted in the murder of George Floyd.  Mike Padden, the attorney handling all three civil lawsuits against Wright’s estate, provided a copy of the latest civil filing to Fox News Digital on Monday. It identifies the victim as a female adult Minneapolis resident by the initials "C.V." and describes a December 2019 incident already explained in an initial arrest warrant filed by the Osseo Police Department. ...
Fox News hosts Tucker Carlson and Laura Ingraham and others on the far-right have been accusing Democrats of exaggerating the violence that occurred when Donald Trump supporters attacked the U.S. Capitol Building on January 6. And they have dismissed House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's January 6 select committee as overblown political theater. But according to Politico, 56-year-old Indiana resident Mark Mazza — one of the defendants charged with bringing a gun to the Capitol that day — has implied to investigators that he would have committed violence against Pelosi had he been able to get to her. Politico's Kyle Cheney is reporting, "An Indiana man charged with carrying a loaded firearm to the Capitol on January 6 told investigators that if he had found Speaker Nancy Pelosi, 'you'd be here for another reason,' according to court documents posted over the weekend. Mark Mazza, 56, is the latest of about half a dozen January 6 defendants charged with bringing a gun to the Capitol. In this case, Mazza allegedly carried a Taurus revolver known as 'The Judge,' which is capable of firing...

Texts allegedly turned over to administration The lawsuit states that those texts were turned over to the school's administration and that Assistant Principal Marcy Dovholuk and Bill Ball — athletic director and varsity football coach — pulled the student filing the suit out of class, the paper said. "Dovholuk and Ball stated that the texts showed that [the student now suing the school] was 'not respecting pronouns' and that he needed to 'respect how people identify,'" the lawsuit states, according to the Herald. The paper said Ball then allegedly said he was suspended from playing football for a week, which was later reduced to one game after the student's mother told Ball her son did nothing wrong, the suit says. He also was punished for using "inappropriate language" in his texts such as "bozo" and "stfu" (i.e., "shut the [expletive] up"), the Herald said. Gender Nonconforming Students policy Besides seeking nominal damages, the lawsuit also takes issue with the school district's policy regarding gender-nonconforming students, the paper said. The lawsuit states that the policy...

Disgraced former New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo justified any touching or appearance of prying into executive assistant Brittany Commisso’s private life by suggesting that she was often the “initiator” of their embraces, and a “gossip hotline,” who frequently aired juicy commentary, according to sworn testimony released by the state’s top prosecutor on Wednesday. When asked if he had been flirtatious with Commisso, who described the job as a “nightmare” and filed a criminal complaint in August, Cuomo told investigators from the New York Attorney General’s Office that he responded to her “flirtatious” demeanor with warmth. “I was --- I would say I was warm back,” Cuomo said during a lengthy grilling in July, after noting that Commisso was both “entertaining” and “a bit of a character,” who had provided support to him at the mansion from time to time, including on weekends. When asked if he had ever chatted with Commisso about her personal life, including her divorce, Cuomo appeared to suggest that he had not solicited information from that she had not volunteered herself, saying: “She was a...

Here’s the vague tweet from Adam Schefter of ESPN.com: “Minnesota Vikings’ RB Dalvin Cook is the victim of domestic abuse and extortion – there’s pending litigation, according to his agent Zac Hiller.” It’s confusing, to be sure. So we spoke to Hiller. Here’s what he told PFT by phone. Roughly a year ago, someone unlawfully entered Cook’s house. The female who did it, is a sergeant in the U.S. military, attacked Cook in his home while he had a guest present. The invader then allegedly tried to extort Cook for millions of dollars, claiming that she suffered injuries during the course of the attack that she allegedly initiated. Zikih Nobles, of San Leandro, was charged with murder, five counts of attempted murder, three counts of robbery and one count of attempted robbery. A Massachusetts phlebotomist working on the side as a dominatrix enjoyed a sushi dinner and sent several text messages to her ex-boyfriend's cellphone, allegedly to establish an alibi for herself, after prosecutors say she stabbed him to death inside a BDSM-themed treehouse as a 'surprise' for her new boyfriend.  These revelations were made on the first day of Julia Enright's trial stemming from the 2018 murder of 20-year-old Brandon Chiklis. In their opening statement, prosecutors argued that Enright, 24, killed Chklis as part of a planned attack after luring him to a treehouse featuring restrains where they used to have sex as teens.   Enright's attorney claimed in his opening remarks that she stabbed Chiklis a dozen times in self-defense after the man attempted to rape her.   Julia Enright, 24, a phlebotomist and dominatrix (left), is on trial in Massachusetts for the 2018 murder of her former classmate and boyfriend Brandon Chiklis, 20 (right) Defense attorney Louis Badwey said in his opening statement on Monday that Enright stabbed Chiklis a dozen time sin self-defense after he tried to rape her  RELATED...
Pennsylvania Democrat Gov. Tom Wolf admitted he had his wife turn in his mail ballot during a recent radio appearance. It is illegal in Pennsylvania for anyone, with rare exception, to have someone else turn in their ballot for elections. After the revelation was made that the practice the governor admitted to was illegal, a spokesman for the governor called it an “honest mistake.” Wolf spoke to KDKA radio host Kevin Battle on election day and discussed his own voting habits. “I didn’t show up in person at the polls. We voted a couple weeks ago, actually,” said Wolf. “My wife actually dropped it off personally two weeks ago, so it’s there.” Pennsylvania election law currently prohibits most individuals from having a third person turn in their ballots. The only exceptions to this rule are for voters with disabilities or ones who select a representative to return an emergency absentee ballot for them.  State Rep. Seth Grove quickly pointed out Wolf’s violation on Twitter saying, “On Nov. 2, Gov. Wolf did an interview with KDKA where he disclosed his wife...

Three years ago, adult-film star Stormy Daniels scarred us all forever by describing Donald Trump’s penis as being like “a toadstool.” She wrote in her 2018 book, which dished the dirt on her alleged affair with the ex-president: “I lay there, annoyed that I was getting fucked by a guy with Yeti pubes and a dick like the mushroom character in Mario Kart.” Well, according to Trump’s former White House press secretary Stephanie Grisham, that truly hideous description didn’t go down very well with Trump either. The Washington Post reports that Grisham writes in her new book that Trump once felt the need to call her from Air Force One to inform her that his penis was neither small nor shaped a toadstool.
