Eighth grade students at public schools in Fairfax County, Virginia, are being requested to fill out a survey that asks them how many different people they’ve had sex with and what means of contraception they used. Set up as a multiple-choice questionnaire, the survey asks students to disclose how old they were when they first had sex, whether or not they’ve had oral sex, and how many people they’ve had sexual intercourse with over the last three months and in their entire lives. VIRGINIA MOTHER WHO EXPOSED PORNOGRAPHIC BOOKS BARRED FROM HIGH SCHOOL LIBRARY The survey, which ABC affiliate WJLA reported , will be administered to eighth, 10th, and 12th graders, contains 173 questions on numerous topics, ranging from sexual activity, drug use, and participation in after-school activities. Both surveys are entirely voluntary to take, and responses are anonymous. The “Fairfax County Youth Survey” is not new, and neither are the...
Students at a $30,000-a-year private school in Miami will have to take a month off after receiving each dose of a COVID vaccine, as school officials fear they will infect unvaccinated students. In a letter, the school's Chief Operating Officer, Bianca Erickson informed parents of students at the Centner Academy: 'Because of the potential impact on other students and our school community, vaccinated students will need to stay at home for 30 days post-vaccination for each dose and booster they receive.' The students may return to school after the 30-day period, according to the letter, which was obtained by 7News, 'as long as the student is healthy and symptom-free.'  But Erickson recommended parents instead 'hold off until the summer,' to receive a COVID vaccine because 'there will be time for the potential transmission or shedding onto others to decrease.'  Erikson did not comment further on what exactly she feared vaccinated students could infect uninoculated students with, although the school's co-founders have previously claimed that people with COVID vaccines can cause fertility issues if they come into contact with unvaccinated women. ...

Halloween is a long way off yet, but it hasn't stopped parents from sharing spooky stories about their children.  British father Dan Schreiber took to Twitter to reveal that his three-year-old child calmly told him they had a family 'a long time ago' - and even came up with a selection of names.  After the spooked father posted the story online, it wasn't long before other parents came forward with similar tales - including one who said her three-year-old daughter often pointed out photos of her great-grandmother saying, 'that's me.' Another child creeped out a taxi driver when he claimed a Claire's Accessories shop they were driving by used to be a pet shop that he'd visit - and the driver confirmed that it was indeed, true. One hundred and sixty-five days ago Harry and Meghan delivered to Oprah Winfrey a damning indictment of the Queen's beloved Royal Family – including accusations of racism – as her husband of 73 years lay dying in hospital. Just 33 days after that interview Prince Philip passed away, plunging the 95-year-old monarch into mourning for the man with whom she had shared her life. Despite contending with one of the most difficult periods she'd ever experienced emotionally, Harry and Meghan's largely fanciful and unverified claims were not simply dismissed by the Queen as I believe they should have been. Instead of spending precious time with Philip, the Queen gathered with courtiers to carefully ponder and then release a statement responding to the interview designed to take the Sussexes claims seriously but not throw the rest of her family under a bus given the complete lack of proof provided to a sycophantic Oprah. She said: 'The whole family is saddened to learn the full extent of how challenging the last few years have been for Harry and Meghan. The issues raised,...

Fox News contributor and Former Utah Congressman Jason Chaffetz joined "Faulkner Focus" on Monday and slammed liberals for their rhetoric and policies while crime is surging throughout American cities.  NYC GUN FIGHT OUTSIDE MANHATTAN GROCERY STORE LEAVES 3 BYSTANDERS WOUNDED, VIDEO SHOWS JASON CHAFFETZ: Well, it is getting worse. These Democrats and progressives have more power than they’ve ever had and are able to institute more of that power. So their policies are clearly not working. You have to have boots on the street.  Well, they did defund the police and they did take nearly 500 undercover police officers off the street in New York. There is a consequence. More crime and less ability to actually apprehend people.  The other thing that is happening I think behind the scenes is you have these prosecutors who don’t prosecute these people. They are let back on the street. Part of the intro here … arrested 25 times and back on the street? President Joe Biden poked fun of high-profile Fox News anchors and personalities promoting coronavirus vaccines on their network. "As they say in the southern part of my state, they've had an altar call, some of these guys. All of a sudden, they're out there saying, 'Let's get vaccinated,'" Biden said Wednesday during a televised town hall. 'BAFFLING': BIDEN PREOCCUPATION WITH TRUMP-FRIENDLY OHIO CONFOUNDS REPUBLICANS The president then checked himself, admitting he "shouldn't make fun" of the news outlet. "You just have to keep telling the truth," he said of his COVID-19 vaccination push. This week, Fox News's Sean Hannity implored viewers of his prime-time show to take the virus "seriously," saying he believed in the science of the shots. White House press secretary Jen Psaki equivocated this week when asked whether legendary quarterback Tom Brady was helping Biden with a vaccination public service announcement. Brady visited the White House on Tuesday to celebrate the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Super Bowl LV win over the Kansas City Chiefs in February. But the president was less coy during the event staged in Ohio...
NEW research shows Americans have a newfound appreciation for their car since the pandemic hit. A survey of 2,000 drivers or car owners in the U.S. explored the relationships people have with their vehicles and found that 40 percent of them have experienced epiphanies or “eureka” moments while driving. 1Two in five said they’re nostalgic about using their vehicle to hit the open roadCredit: Getty From committing to making a positive change in their life to coming up with a business idea or catching someone in a lie, there’s no shortage of life-altering moments drivers have experienced in their cars. The study also showed cars had become extensions of one’s home, operating as everything from a de facto office to a confessional. The survey was commissioned by Metromile, a digital insurer, and conducted by OnePoll. And vehicles play host to far more activities than driving or work. Forty-eight percent said their car is a perfect space to talk to themselves, cry (42 percent), shop online (37 percent), have sex (32 percent), take a suggestive photo of themselves (21 percent) or...
(CNN)Carl Nassib's coming out was casual, matter-of-fact and, evidenced by the ebullient smile he wore throughout the video in which he disclosed his sexuality, a release he'd long waited for. The laid-back nature of his announcement belies how exceedingly rare it was for Nassib to come out at all. The Las Vegas Raiders defensive end is now just one of two openly gay active players in the history of the four biggest North American sports leagues (the National Football League, National Basketball Association, Major League Baseball and the National Hockey League). He joins Jason Collins, an NBA veteran who came out in 2013 and retired after the following season. Those leagues have, combined, had nearly four centuries between them and tens of thousands of players. And of all the men who've ever swung a bat, smacked a puck, dodged a tackler or sunk a basket, only a handful have ever come out, typically after they've retired. Carl Nassib is the first active NFL player to come out -- and just the second openly gay active player in the NFL, MLB,...

Half of coupled Americans say they're having the worst sex they've ever had with their current sexual partner, according to a survey by sex toy company Lelo. The survey asked 2,000 Americans about their sex lives in a self-reported questionnaire.  Queer sex and relationship therapist Casey Tanner told Insider less passionate sex can mean a relationship is just more emotionally stable. Sex in tumultuous relationships, in contrast, can feel more fulfilling because of the sexiness that comes with hot and cold dynamics. "This is because relationships in turmoil – which experience higher highs and lower lows – repeatedly create a sense of distance in the relationship," Tanner said. "This distance, fueled by conflict, is a breeding ground for eroticism. In other words, we want what...

But the questions came to ahead in October when Feinstein, 87, led Democrats during Amy Coney Barrett's confirmation hearings to the Supreme Court.  Schumer, the Senate Democratic leader, spoke with her about moving aside on her own terms, The New Yorker reported, in an effort to keep her dignity intact. But Feinstein was surprised and upset by his overtures.    'She wasn't really all that aware of the extent to which she'd been compromised,' a Senate source told the magazine. 'It was hurtful and distressing to have it pointed out.'  But Feinstein, who had been displaying short term memory problems, seemed to forget about her conversations with Schumer, so he had to have them with her again. 'It was like Groundhog Day, but with the pain fresh each time,'...
Bill Gates has warned that the next five months look 'pretty grim' for the United States unless COVID-19 cases, hospitalizations and deaths stop surging - as he vowed to immediately take a vaccine once it's available to him. The billionaire philanthropist, whose foundation has contributed $450 million to the global coronavirus response, told NBC's Today that things could likely return to normal by the spring if Americans doubled down on public health measures now.   'It's a paradoxical situation because things are getting worse right now. The next four to five months looks pretty grim unless we can double down on our behaviors,' he said.  'But the treatment tools... will start to roll out and, by the spring, those numbers will be big enough that, certainly in the United States, it'll start to change the numbers dramatically. And, you know, we'll be headed back to normal.' ill Gates has warned that the next five months look 'pretty grim' for the United States unless COVID-19 cases, hospitalizations and deaths stop surging - as he vowed to immediately take a vaccine once it's available...
Iceland was one of the first countries to reopen its borders to visitors last summer. Kevin Kopf/Shutterstock Iceland was one of the first countries to reopen its borders to visitors last June and tested all travelers for COVID-19. After a second wave in the summer, it tightened restrictions on incoming travelers, asking them to either quarantine for 14 days, or take a test on arrival, quarantine for five days, and then take a second test. But from December 10, Iceland will allow travelers that can prove that they have recovered from the coronavirus to skip both testing and quarantine. While experts agree that reinfection is rare and that patients generally do develop some sort of immunity, we don't know enough yet about how long immunity can last. It's worth noting that while the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention no longer advises against nonessential travel, it does warn that "travel increases your chance of getting and spreading COVID-19." Ticketmaster has revealed plans to require proof of vaccination or a recent negative test for COVID-19 using a digital health pass for sports fans and concertgoers who want to attend live events. The event ticketing giant revealed its plans, which are still in the preliminary stages, to Billboard magazine on Wednesday, painting the first picture of what live events might look like by next year. It followed Monday's news that Pfizer's vaccine candidate had shown 90 percent efficacy in clinical trials, paving the way for a vaccinated world in which large crowds can again attend baseball games, concerts, live theater and other events.  Ticketmaster said that it planned to use tie-ins between its own mobile ticketing app and third party health information companies like CLEAR Health Pass or IBM's Digital Health Pass to verify vaccination status or negative test results. SoFi Stadium in California is seen prior to a game between the Las Vegas Raiders and Los Angeles Rames on Sunday. Well, the Democrats’ rosy predictions were wrong...again. After spending a half-billion dollars (yes, with a “b”), Democrats whiffed, again, at taking back the Senate. While across the Capitol, their tough talk about gaining seats faltered as Republicans picked off Democratic House members in states from California to Florida, with probably more to come. While we still don’t know who will occupy the White House post-Election Day on Wednesday morning, it’s safe to say that Tuesday night was a major wake up call for congressional Democrats and the opening salvo in a bloody intra-party battle. But first, how did we get here? IOWA SEN. JONI ERNST HOLDS OFF DEM CHALLENGER GREENFIELD TO WIN REELECTION With a hype machine not seen since the advent of New Coke, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y. and the Democrats breathlessly trotted out their candidates running for the Senate. Former governors. A statehouse speaker. Even an astronaut. Not bad at first glance, right? Well, when the rubber met the road and it was time to actually campaign, these Democrats took a page from former Vice President...

Subway employees are sharing the strangest and most horrifying sandwich orders that they ever had to make. In response to a recent AskReddit thread, current and former employees at the chain are spilling stories on the most bizarre and disgusting requests they ever had to fill. Proving that they're the real heroes, employees have recalled serving up bread with just condiments, sandwiches slathered in oil, and whole bags of lettuce to customers with some very particular preferences.
