Tainted The bicyclists blocking traffic by riding an arm-length from the curb on the roadway of Wheelock Parkway between Edgerton and 35E. The city has spent hundreds of thousands of dollars on bike lanes. In this corridor, the bike lane is separate from the roadway either going between the lanes on the parkway median or on the south side near the sidewalk. The city took away from the roadway to put this bikeway in. Either there is a single lane in one direction or the roadway has been constricted for the bikeway south of the roadway. There is not enough width to allow for a motor vehicle to safely get around or there is oncoming traffic that prevents them from getting around a bicycle. Bicycles are allowed to travel on the roadways but why would you choose the roadway when there is a bikeway separate from it and also...
