Former New York Mets star Lenny Dykstra blasted left-wing, anti-gun activist David Hogg Sunday after the youngster tweeted that he is chagrined over the homelessness problem in Cambridge, Massachusetts, home of Harvard University. Hogg, who has become a left-wing hero for his constant woke posts on Twitter, won himself a place at prestigious Harvard even though at 1270, his SAT scores wouldn’t seem to merit his inclusion there — Harvard usually doesn’t even consider applicants unless they have a 1460 SAT or higher. And on Sunday, the anti-gun teen posted a tweet about how he often sees homeless people as he walks to class at the Ivy League school. “I walk to class every day passing people sleeping in the cold on the ground- outside an institution with over $53 billion, in a state that purports to be one of the most progressive in the country, In the richest country on the planet,” Hogg tweeted. “Our issue isn’t resources- it’s priorities.” I walk to class every day passing people sleeping in the cold on the ground- outside an institution with...

For starters, he’s rolling the dice with "Poker Run," where he served as writer, director and leading man. It’s a sequel to fan-favorite "Stand On It," a "Smokey and the Bandit" tribute that was released in 2020. The 61-year-old is also starring in the new Lifetime film "Christmas in Tune" alongside Reba McEntire where they find themselves sharing the stage. Getty Miami Heat star Jimmy Butler celebrates during a game against the Orlando Magic. Miami Heat star Jimmy Butler was at his Jimmy Butler-est during Monday’s bout with the Orlando Magic. In 33 minutes of play, the cornerstone dropped 36 points on an ultra-efficient 15-of-21 shooting. He also added five steals for good measure during the 107-90 win. The effort marked Butler’s highest scoring total since the 2019-20 campaign. And it was a big-time improvement over his 7-of-22 night against the Indiana Pacers on October 23. So what exactly triggered the offensive explosion from the five-time All-Star? It’s difficult to pinpoint, but it may just have been the country grooves he was blasting before the game. According to his Instagram story, Butler had Luke Bryan’s “Rain Is a Good Thing” in his headphones while preparing for the contest. In the song, Bryan sings that “rain makes corn, corn makes whiskey.” After hearing those words, Butler brought the rain to South Beach and that made a bounce-back win for the Heat.Bryan Is Butler’s Boy Play Luke Bryan –...

Country legend Alan Jackson is opening up about his battle with a degenerative nerve condition, something he's rarely talked about despite being diagnosed a decade ago. The 62-year-old performer was diagnosed with Charcot-Marie-Tooth (CMT) disease, which is known to damage muscles and compromise balance and movement. In a new interview with TODAY's Jenna Bush Hager, Jackson admits he's been "reluctant to talk about it" publicly. "It's genetic. I inherited from my daddy. It's called CMT ironically enough because CMT was a big part of my career," he said with a chuckle. The singer and songwriter said he's been "self-conscious" on stage because it's affected his ability to balance, especially in front of a crowd and in front of the microphone. DARIUS RUCKER SAYS THE 'STIGMA' OF 'RACISM' ATTACHED TO COUNTRY MUSIC IS 'CHANGING': 'I'M JUST GLAD' "There's no cure for it but it's been affecting me for years. It's getting more and more obvious. I know I'm stumbling around stage now. I'm having a little trouble balancing even in front of the microphone. I just feel very uncomfortable." Lee...
