DONALD Trump has accused Meghan Markle of “disrespecting the Queen” and “horribly” manipulating Prince Harry. The former President’s criticism came in a new interview with Nigel Farage, in which he alleges the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have “hurt” the Royal family. 2Donald Trump was speaking to Nigel Farage Trump has in the past been critical of Meghan and earlier this year said he would consider running for President again amid rumours she was planning a bid for the White House. During the interview, Trump also spoke of his admiration for the Queen, which he says stems from his Scottish mother, and how that’s clouded his view of Meghan. He once again took aim at the Duchess, telling the former UKIP leader: “I think she’s been very disrespectful to the Queen, who’s such a great woman, such a great person, a historic person. “I think she’s very disrespectful to the Royal Family and most importantly to the Queen. “I think Harry’s been used and been used terribly. The Barbadian parliament elected Mason last month.Present at the festivities will be Prince Charles, heir to the British throne and future head of the Commonwealth, a 54-member organization of mostly former British territories. He accepted an invitation from Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley to be guest of honor at the transition celebrations, according to Clarence House. Petite, beautiful and spectacularly costumed, Joan Rhodes commanded attention without even lifting a finger.  But it was when she began performing that audiences couldn't look away. For glamorous 5ft 7in Joan was also a strongwoman. Indeed, she was one of the biggest variety stars of the 1950s and 1960s.  Billed as 'The Mighty Mannequin', her act was built around her strength. She could bend a steel bar or a 9in nail and lift any one of the men in her audience without so much as chipping her brightly varnished fingernails.  She was best known for tearing 1,000-page telephone directories in half or even quarters 'if the applause warranted it'. Joan's strongwoman act took her all over the world, including a performance for the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh at Windsor Castle, and she appeared on bills with Bob Hope, Fred Astaire and Marlene Dietrich. It also won her a strange array of admirers, from Elvis Presley to a fanatical fascist.   Now her remarkable story is told in An Iron Girl In A Velvet Glove, by friend and biographer Triona Holden,...

The wife of jailed drug lord Joaquín 'El Chapo' Guzmán will not cooperate with the US government in exchange for a lighter sentence because she fears for the safety of their twin 10-year-old daughters, her lawyer said. Instead, Emma Coronel will seek the safety valve exception, requiring her to meet a series of guidelines that could see her spend anywhere in between five to seven years in prison. 'She has (her two) girls in Mexico and it is very well known what happens to cooperators or to the family of collaborators,' said criminal attorney Mariel Colón in an interview with Univision. 'Then why expose, risk the lives of her girls, the life of her family, when there is another resource that can help her and allow her to leave in the same time that she would have left if she had cooperate.' Colón added that Coronel is allowed to leave her jail cell for four hours a day and has not seen her twin daughters because of COVID-19 restrictions that prohibit inmates from receiving visitors. The 31-year-old has been in...
AMID the sombre reflection for the Fallen, Britain’s Armed Forces sent a get well message to the Queen. Diana's former royal chef Darren McGrady has revealed he used to coax the Queen into choosing the Princess' favourite bread and butter pudding by giving the monarch a second choice he knew she would reject. Speaking on his YouTube channel, the royal chef, 59, who spent 15 years in the royal kitchen, explained that he would always run the daily menu with two options past the monarch, and if Diana was visiting, he would make sure her favourite dessert - a cross between bread pudding and creme brûlée - was top on the menu. Some cocktails warm the blood. Others stimulate the mind. But some are simply designed to make life more fun or, perhaps in the case of the Royal Family, more bearable. Take the royals’ favourite rocket fuel that is Gordon’s Gin (with an alcohol content of 37.5 per cent), Dubonnet (a wine-based aperitif flavoured with herbs and an alcohol content of 14.8 per cent), ice, a slice and, please, please, no dreary old mixer. The Queen Mother was a huge fan —often confiding she couldn’t possibly navigate her endless engagements ‘without a little something’. Dubonnet was invented to stop French legionnaires catching malaria and pepped up two Queen Elizabeths as their pre-prandial sharpener Or perhaps not so little. Once, when detailing arrangements for a royal picnic, she provided her favourite page, Billy Tallon, with a small, handwritten note. ‘I think,’ it said, ‘that I will take 2 small bottles of Dubonnet and Gin with me this morning, in case it is needed.’ Which, doubtless, it was. The Queen is also a huge enthusiast. Until recently (when she decided to take a temporary...

Lawyers for Prince Andrew's accuser will seek a deposition from him as part of her sex assault lawsuit against him, a hearing heard today. Attorneys for Virginia Roberts, now known as Virginia Giuffre, will request for the Duke of York to give testimony under oath and could do so 'relatively promptly'. Mrs Giuffre's lawyer David Boies said that he would seek to depose between eight and 12 people while the Duke's lawyers wanted to question a similar number. During a 10-minute hearing before a federal court in New York, Mr Boies said that the case was 'moving along' after delays caused by the Duke refusing to accept service of the legal paperwork. The judge set a tentative trial date of next September or October meaning that it will cast a shadow over The Queen's Platinum Jubilee, which will take place in June 2022 marking 70 years since she acceded to the British throne.  Prince Andrew is pictured at the Royal Chapel of All Saints in Windsor on April 11 this year Prince Andrew, Virginia Roberts, then 17, and Ghislaine Maxwell pictured...

Her mother didn't want her to miss her big moment, Walters said. Walters, who aspires to become a nurse, didn't win homecoming queen that night, but thanks to an act of kindness that has shined a healing light on a grieving family and community, she ended the night in a crown. Senior aides at Buckingham Palace are scrambling to devise a strategy for managing the Queen’s workload after being accused of misleading the public over her health. Sir Edward Young, the Queen’s private secretary, last night faced calls to ‘be ruthless’ and purge the Monarch’s diary of functions not central to her role as head of state. Officials are understood to be drawing up a ‘core’ list of key events that the Queen will prioritise in the next 12 months, including the Platinum Jubilee to celebrate her 70-year reign in June. Senior aides at Buckingham Palace are scrambling to devise a strategy for managing the Queen’s workload after being accused of misleading the public over her health Her attendance at the UN climate change summit in Glasgow on November 1 remains in the diary, but a final decision will not be made until later this week. Meanwhile, the Palace’s communications team is under pressure to be more candid should the 95-year-old Monarch require further visits to hospital.  The Queen’s courtiers faced extensive criticism last week for failing to inform the public that...
Royal weddings are always an occasion for pomp and ceremony. But the nuptials between Prince Philippos of Greece and billionaire's daughter Nina Flohr this weekend are tipped to be particularly lavish, even by royal standards.   Philippos, 35, godson of Princess Diana and the Duke of Edinburgh, will exchange vows with Nina, daughter of Swiss businessman Thomas Flohr, on Saturday at the Metropolitan Cathedral of Athens, according to Hola!. It will be the third wedding for the couple, who first wed last December in a small civil ceremony in St Moritz, Switzerland, followed by a high society springtime celebration in Cambridgeshire.  While both were intimate affairs - indeed there were just the two fathers as witnesses at the first - this third wedding has all the makings of a full-blown extravaganza. Concerns about the health of Queen Elizabeth II grew Wednesday after Buckingham Palace announced she was “reluctantly” canceling a planned trip to Northern Ireland on doctor’s “advice.” The news came after the 95-year-old monarch was seen using a walking stick during two engagements last week and after Vanity Fair reported that doctors had told her to give up alcohol, including her beloved evening martini. (Photo by Jacob King-WPA Pool/Getty Images)  Royal sources have told the U.K. media that “there is no cause for concern” about the queen’s health and that the trip cancellation is not related to the coronavirus. “The Queen has reluctantly accepted medical advice to rest for the next few days,” Buckingham Palace said in a statement, the Daily Mail reported. “Her Majesty is in good spirits and is disappointed that she will no longer be able to visit Northern Ireland, where she had been due to undertake a...
After two female students were voted homecoming king and queen at one New Jersey high school, the administration responded by reopening the ballot to add two more male kings — which had prompted fierce protest from students. Zoe Nelson and Jyckell Perez, both 17, were named homecoming king and queen, respectively, at Passaic County Technical Institute after winning the contest through the votes of fellow students. But rather than letting the two teen girls hold the titles together, the administration at Passaic County Technical Institute expanded voting to elect two more male students as kings. The judgement call doesn't appear to reflect the needs of the students, who overwhelmingly opposed it.  On Monday, about a thousand of them particpated in a sit-in in protest, and the principal has since apologized, insisting that the intent was not to slight the female homecoming king. Three Miss France beauty pageant contestants have joined a leading feminist group in suing the contest for alleged discrimination based on their appearance. The 'Osez le feminisme' (Dare to be a Feminist) group, along with three failed contestants, said they were targeting the Miss France company as well as Endemol Production, which makes the annual TV programme screened on the TF1 channel. Osez le feminisme said that it had filed a complaint with the state labour tribunal on behalf of the three former contestants, who didn't make the cut, saying they had given up trying to get their arguments across by other methods.  Three Miss France beauty pageant contestants have joined a leading feminist group in suing the contest for alleged discrimination based on their appearance. The United Nations climate circus is coming to the United Kingdom and no one, not even green-succubus-bewitched Prime Minister Boris Johnson, has been shilling harder for the upcoming COP26 shenanigans than the Royal Family. Not a day goes by without the uncritical mainstream media running yet another Climate Industrial Complex propaganda piece about a member of the Royal Family saying or doing something ‘green’ in the run-up to COP26. Today, yet again, it’s Prince Charles’s turn. The royal Climate Loon, we learn from another Daily Mail puff piece, has been busily indoctrinating his young grandson George with the usual eco-bollox. Prince Charles has revealed told how his grandson Prince George is learning about climate change as he introduced a documentary ahead of Cop26. The Prince of Wales, 72, appeared in the new The Sky Kids Original documentary Cop26: In Your Hands, and explained his eldest grandson, eight, has been learning global warming is causing ‘the big storms, and floods, the droughts, fires and food shortages’ around the world. During the clip, Charles added: ‘When I was his age, people had no...

The Kenyan safari lodge where Princess Elizabeth became Queen has been forced to close after nearly 90 years of welcoming royalty. Kenya's oldest safari lodge, Treetops - an elaborate treehouse on the edge of a watering hole in Aberdare National Park - was where the monarch famously 'went up the tree a Princess and came down a Queen.' The property was rebuilt after being burned down by guerillas a few years later, but when the Queen and Prince Philip stayed, their accommodation was a comfortable three-bedroom shack, with a small servants quarter, built in the upper branches of a giant fig tree.  Recreated at a game reserve in Cape Town, South Africa for series one of Netflix's The Crown, a nail-biting scene in episode two, sees Claire Foy, who portrayed Queen Elizabeth, almost killed by charging elephants, but a brave Prince Philip distracts one before chasing the enraged animal off.  The lodge is one of several casualties of the pandemic in Kenya where tourist revenue has fallen by 90 per cent due to travel restrictions, according to The Kenya Wildlife Service.  The Kenyan...
The Queen has been 'ordered to quit drinking by royal doctors,' according to a magazine quoting a family friend. Her Majesty, who is in good physical health and has been seen using a walking stick during recent engagements in Wales 'for comfort' rather than any medical reason, has allegedly been advised to forgo alcohol except for special occasions.  According to two sources close to the monarch, doctors have also given the advice ahead of the monarch's Platinum Jubilee celebrations next June.  'The Queen has been told to give up her evening drink which is usually a martini,' a family friend is said to have told Vanity Fair's Katie Nicholl. 'It's not really a big deal for her, she is not a big drinker but it seems a trifle unfair that at this stage in her life she's having to give up one of very few pleasures.' Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will not christen their daughter Lilibet in the UK and are likely to opt for a ceremony in California, royal sources have claimed.     The Duke and Duchess of Sussex welcomed their second child Lilibet Diana Mountbatten-Windsor, who was born in Santa Barbara, California, on June 4 this year.   It had previously been suggested the couple, who named the four-month-old after the Queen's childhood nickname, would christen their child at Windsor Castle in front of the monarch - who is yet to meet her great granddaughter. However sources have now revealed that a christening in the UK was 'highly unlikely' and the pair will instead opt to christen their daughter at the Episcopal Church of the US.  The decision will now raise questions as to when the Queen will ever get to meet the great granddaughter named after her face to face.  It also comes just days after it was revealed that Prince Harry would not be returning to Britain next week to join his brother Prince William at a party to honour their late mother.   Prince Harry and Meghan...
