    LOS ANGELES (CBSLA) – Investigators believe a man who was shot and killed outside a popular Hollywood restaurant in the early morning hours Tuesday was coming to the aid of a woman who was being attacked by suspects likely linked to the recent slew of “follow-home robberies.” Nov. 23, 2021. (CBSLA) The shooting occurred at 2:09 a.m. in the 7100 block of Sunset Boulevard, outside Bossa Nova restaurant. Los Angeles police responded to find a 23-year-old man dead at the scene. The shooting happened just after 8:30 p.m. Saturday outside Covington’s home as the mother-to-be unloaded gifts from her baby shower. The victim was found by deputies who responded to gunshot victim call for service. They arrived at the 300 block of North Marianna Avenue to find their victim, an adult Hispanic female, suffering from a gunshot wound to her lower torso. She was transported to a local hospital before being pronounced dead. At the time there is no information about a potential suspect in the shooting.     Georgia police on Wednesday identified a dead female robbery suspect who allegedly tried to rob two men at gunpoint inside a vehicle but was shot and killed by her own gun during a struggle. The Warner Robins Police Department said its officers were dispatched at 12:30 a.m. Sunday to the 100 block of Fred Drive and found 21-year-old Kyndal Reynolds with a gunshot wound. Reynolds was transported to Houston Medical Center, where she died.     An international shipping company has suspended five crew members pending the results of an investigation into sexual abuse claims.  The actions by Maersk followed an anonymous blog post written by a student who said she was raped on one of the company's ships in 2019. In a short 13-second film, Wright is seen playing with the gun in a bathroom as water is running in the background. Wesley Jean-Marie, of Valley Stream, New York, has been charged in the shooting death of Leeana Cottle, 21, of Newark, late Tuesday, according to Acting Essex County Prosecutor Theodore N.     A woman shot in the face Monday morning in Jersey City was apparently struck by a stray bullet, officials said. Two people were arguing inside of a building on Oak Street and MLK Drive when shots were fired at approximately 8:30 p.m., City Spokeswoman Kimberly Wallace-Scalcione said.
