According to current NBA mandates, a player must isolate for ten days if they test positive for the coronavirus. “After that period, a player must undergo a cardiac screening and reconditioning in order to be cleared to return to the court,” noted ESPN. “A player who tests positive could also clear protocol by returning two negative PCR tests within a 24-hour period.” Since Tuesday, James has reportedly submitted eight negative coronavirus tests, sources told ESPN, clearing him to return. LAKEWOOD, Colo. (CBS4) – If you love all things Christmas, you need to make sure your holiday plans include a visit to Camp Christmas at Heritage Lakewood Belmar Park. Last year, Camp Christmas had to go all virtual but Camp Director Lonnie Hanzon wasted no time in getting ready for an in-person experience this year. (CBS Detroit) — Michigan Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson announced Thursday the return of the “Water-Winter Wonderland” license plate. Officials said collectors and motorists have requested the license plate for years. It was used by the state in 1965 when the National Voting Rights Act became law. READ MORE: Striking Kellogg's Workers Receiving 3% Raises In New ContractAccording to the SOS website, it replaced the Water Wonderland plate, which was produced from 1954 to 1964. While the Water-Winter Wonderland plate was among the first made of galvanized steel, the plate today is rust-resistant aluminum, tamper-proof and easily identifiable. “I am proud to give Michiganders back a longtime favorite license plate that also marks a critical moment in the history of our nation’s democracy,” Benson said in a statement. “In 1965, we worked together as a nation to protect and advance voting rights in pursuit of a more perfect union, just as today we must come together as a nonpartisan, pro-democracy coalition to protect and advance our elections.” The license plate can also be purchased as a disability plate. More than half of Americans who lost their jobs in the pandemic and remain unemployed are not interested in returning to work, according to a new survey suggesting that the dire national labor shortage is likely to persist. The poll published on Thursday by the US Chamber of Commerce found that 53 percent of Americans who became unemployed during the pandemic say they are not active or only somewhat active in looking for work.  Fifty-six percent say they can get by for more than six months before it becomes essential to return to full time work, with 11 percent saying it will be more than a year before it is necessary to return to work, and 15 percent saying it will never be essential.  No detail was given on whether this cohort was comprised of retirees, or how they'll manage to survive without a job.   The poll is a troubling signal amid a worker shortage that is exacerbating supply chain issues and spurring inflation, with businesses across the country struggling to fill millions of open positions. Warriors fans are awaiting the return of Klay Thompson but they should be excited by what he’s doing while rehabbing with G-League Santa Cruz. While the Golden State Warriors are looking like one of the NBA’s elite once again after some pedestrian years by their measure, the franchise also has an ace in the hole: Klay Thompson. Steph Curry has been playing at an MVP level this season and all of the complimentary pieces have fallen into place beautifully. But Thompson, who has missed the last two years due to injuries, is inching closer to his return, which would obviously reunite the Splash Brothers at long last on the court. The latest step towards Thompson’s return was assigning him to the team’s G-League affiliate, the Santa Cruz Warriors, for a rehab stint. And the dynamic guard has been practicing with said team. And if you’re wondering how that’s going, he seems to be falling right back into form, sinking a game-winner in the team’s scrimmage on Tuesday. Klay Thompson game-winner today at scrimmage. ???????? ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. Coach Sean McDermott also announced starting guard Jon Feliciano practiced Tuesday after missing the past four games on injured reserve with a calf injury. The potential return of three key starters helps in part to offset the loss of starting cornerback Tre’Davious White, who will miss the remainder of the season after tearing a ligament in his left knee against New Orleans. The Bills have relinquished their division lead to the Patriots after losing three of their past six and have not won consecutive games since a four-game run was snapped in a 34-31 loss at Tennessee on Oct. 18. ___ More AP NFL: https://apnews.com/hub/nfl and...

The clash against former boss Claudio Ranieri's strugglers is the first of NINE quickfire Chelsea fixtures in the month of December alone. And Lukaku's return to fitness is a welcome boost ahead of a key run of fixtures. The £97.5m summer signing came off the bench in the 1-1 draw against Manchester United on Sunday, but could be trusted from the start after coming back from an ankle injury. That would push Timo Werner back out wide, with Mason Mount also likely to...

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Lincoln Riley arrived at Southern California on Monday with a determination to restore the Trojans to their place atop the college football world. Riley landed in Los Angeles roughly 24 hours after he agreed to leave Oklahoma following five successful seasons in charge. He addressed his new players before receiving his official welcome at the Coliseum in what he called “a surreal moment.” “It was tough to leave the place I was,” Riley said. “At the same time, I knew this was the right thing.” The respected 38-year-old coach who went 55-10 with the Sooners made a swift decision to join the Trojans, who expressed their fervent interest in him shortly after he arrived home Sunday morning from Oklahoma’s narrow loss to Oklahoma State. Riley said he was happy in Norman, but the opportunity presented by this new challenge on the West Coast was too fascinating to resist. Riley expressed admiration for his new school’s history, alumni base, facilities and the recruiting opportunities in talent-rich Southern California. He also took an immediate shine to the venerable...
NASSAU, Bahamas (AP) — Tiger Woods says he expects to play golf again, just not very often, and he doesn’t see himself reaching the top of the sport again because “I don’t think that’s a realistic expectation of me.” He says he can see himself picking certain tournaments to play, but not a full-time schedule. His extensive video interview with Golf Digest, with whom he has a financial relationship, was published Monday ahead of his first press conference since his right leg was badly damaged in a Feb. 23 car crash in the Los Angeles suburbs. Woods is the tournament host of the Hero World Challenge. The 15-time major champion raised hopes of another comeback when Woods posted a three-second video hitting a short iron with the message, “Making progress.” He didn’t make it sound as though a return was around the corner. “I have so far to go,” he said. “I’m not even at the halfway point. I have so much more muscle development and nerve development that I have to do in my leg. At the same time,...
Just a week after getting the golf world stirring with a swing video, Tiger Woods opened up in an interview about his future playing on the PGA Tour. Tiger Woods sent every golf fan into a frenzy just over a week ago when he posted a short clip of him swinging on the range. That, naturally, got everyone speculating about when the arguable GOAT of the sport would be back playing on the PGA Tour again. On Monday, we got further clarity about what the future will hold for Woods. In an interview with Golf Digest, Woods opened up about his future, his recovery and much more. But when addressing what his return to the PGA Tour will look like, he had this to say. “I think something that is realistic is playing the tour one day — never full time, ever again — but pick and choose, just like Mr. [Ben] Hogan did. Pick and choose a few events a year and you play around that.” Tiger Woods will never play on the PGA Tour as a full-time player...
In Zach Wilson’s return off a knee injury, the No. 2 overall pick struggled. Wilson threw for under 150 yards with a rushing touchdown and an interception. But the coaching staff stepped up and Wilson allowed him to manage the game as the Jets snagged their first road win of the season over the Texans in Week 12. While there was some disappointment from the fan base on Wilson’s outing, Robert Saleh was pleased with the performance of his rookie. “Was it his best game? No. Did he do a lot of things? Did he get comfortable as the game went on? Absolutely,” Saleh said. “He orchestrated two 13-play drives that led the scores where we were able to lap them. Scored before the half, scored after the half and another eight-plus-play drive. So, he orchestrated three pretty long drives and did enough to win the football game and that’s what’s most important.” Wilson wasn’t happy with his performance, but Saleh looked at those emotions as a positive because of his quarterback eagerness to improve. ...
TIME is running out to claim your plus-up stimulus check. If your income dropped significantly between 2019 and 2020, you may be eligible to receive more funds. 1The deadline is December 31 When stimulus checks were introduced at the onset of the Covid pandemic, they were issued based on the most recent tax return on file. Another round of stimulus checks went out in March 2021 when many had not yet filed their 2020 taxes, so their check was based on their 2019 return. But many folks saw their income drop significantly between 2019 and 2020 due to the pandemic. As a result, some may have received less than they were entitled to because the amount was based on an outdated tax return. WE can only imagine how nerve-wracking it must be to pop the question - first and foremost, you're going to be stressed about whether your other half will say yes. And once you're past that hurdle, you've also got to get the ring right - both in terms of style and size. 1The bride had shown her fiance photos of the kind of ring she wanted and even told him her sizeCredit: Getty But while most people we know would probably accept a proposal even with a Haribo ring, one woman has caused quite a stir after admitting she HATES the design her fiance chose. Sharing her dilemma on Reddit, the bride-to-be explained how she's been with her other half for three years and had often shown him pictures of rings she likes. She explained: "I do like slightly bigger diamonds because I have chunkier fingers & I feel like small diamonds kinda get lost on my chubby hands." As such, the woman had told her partner that she would be happy with a bigger moissanite if he couldn't afford...

The White House said it was “not going to give a timeline for when” diplomacy “would end” as Washington and world powers convene with Iran in Vienna for talks aimed at salvaging the 2015 nuclear deal. “Unquestionably, our best approach here is through diplomacy. That is the preferable approach, so I’m not going to give a timeline for when that would end,” press secretary Jen Psaki told reporters on Monday. “That is what we were going to continue to press for.” The parties to the 2015 Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action reconvened in Vienna on Monday to parse a mutual return to the deal by Washington and Tehran. But in the nearly six months since the group last met, obstacles have emerged. Iran elected a new president earlier this year, hard-line cleric Ebrahim Raisi, and dispatched new negotiators to Vienna. Tehran said Friday that it had further advanced its nuclear enrichment program as it presses for sanctions relief from the United States. Meanwhile, Washington has said it is exploring a “Plan B,” with support from Israel if negotiations fail. DEMOCRATS'...
KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) — The last time the Kansas City Chiefs had a week off at this point in the year, they didn’t lose against until the next season. There’s a lot of reasons to believe this year’s team can follow in the footsteps of the 2019 championship bunch. Whether it’s the return of several players from injuries to the continued involvement of a couple of late newcomers, or the improvement that was evident before the break to coach Andy Reid’s downright incredible record after a bye, the Chiefs returned to work Monday brimming with optimism about the stretch run they’re about to begin. “Listen, there’s always a little something you find out about yourself,” Reid said Monday, “and yeah, because you have extended time you have an opportunity to look a little deeper. There weren’t any huge surprises, but there’s always a little nugget in there if you look hard enough.” On the injury front, Chiefs right tackle Lucas Niang could return from a rib injury and be available for Sunday night’s game against the Broncos at Arrowhead...

MIAMI (AP) — Michael Porter Jr. of the Denver Nuggets needs surgery to address his latest back injury, and there’s no known timetable yet for his return. Porter’s agent, Mark Bartelstein, said the surgery is scheduled for Wednesday. Porter — who dealt with a serious back problem in college, so severe that some wondered if he would ever be an effective NBA player — has been limited to nine games this season. ESPN first reported that Porter will need the surgery. Doctors will then be able to determine a likely course of recovery and how much time Porter may need before he can return. The Nuggets start a seven-game road trip in Miami on Monday night. They enter that game on a six-game slide, with five of those losses by double digits. Denver has had seven players miss time with injuries already this season, including reigning MVP Nikola Jokic and All-Star guard Jamal Murray. Jokic has been dealing with a wrist issue, and Murray hasn’t played since tearing the ACL in his left knee last season. Porter was limited to...
