A convicted murderer currently behind bars for the rape and murder of a woman in 1980 will now stand trial for the death of his adopted daughter, 14, who he allegedly pushed down the stairs, dismembered and buried under a concrete slab back in 1989. Dennis Bowman, 71, from Michigan, appeared in Allegan County District Court Monday where a judge ruled there was 'ample evidence' to send him to trial over the slaying of Aundria Bowman, who he previously claimed had ran away from home. Bowman's wife Brenda Bowman testified that her husband confessed to their daughter's murder in a prison phone call last year where he told her Aundria's body had been 'right under your nose' in their backyard for the last three decades.  At the time of his confession, Bowman was behind bars for the rape and murder of 25-year-old Kathleen Doyle, the wife of a US Navy pilot, after new...
The boyfriend of a woman, to whom the National Institute of Social Security (INSS) recognized a total incapacity for work due to depressive disorder derived from gender abuse, has now been sentenced to sentences totaling seven years and four months in prison by a criminal court in San Sebastián. The judgment of the case recalls that the INSS recognized the victim in 2019 as having “total permanent disability for his usual profession due to a mixed anxiety-depressive disorder” reactive to sexist abuse, since he suffered “organic and functional limitations, experiential and traumatic psychological impairment”, in addition to “generalized anxiety and dysphoric mood”, among other pathologies. The judicial resolution now considers “evident” that this “psychological affectation” derives from abuse to which she was subjected and which led her to remain on sick leave for almost two years. A situation in which the woman, who has been represented in this case by...
