White House press secretary Jen Psaki argued the crisis on the Southern border was not a ‘crisis’ even after President Joe Biden described it as such. “There is no change in position,” Psaki told reporters at the White House press briefing Monday. “The president does not feel that children coming to our border seeking refuge from violence, economic hardships, and other dire circumstances is not a crisis.” On Sunday, Biden spoke to reporters about the crisis on the border, saying it was part of his consideration on the issue of refugee caps. “The problem was that the refugee part was working on the crisis that ended up on the border with young people,” he said to reporters briefly after playing a round of golf in Delaware. The crisis, Psaki argued, was in Central American countries, where migrants were fleeing poverty, violence, and other dire circumstances. “That is a situation we...

The Supreme Court on Monday declined to take up a Pennsylvania voting dispute more than five months after the 2020 presidential election. The decision, which was released in an unsigned order, turned away an appeals from several Pennsylvania Republicans seeking to challenge voting rules put in place prior to the 2020 election. The decision is the court's latest swipe at the deluge of election litigation that came before it after former President Donald Trump and his allies denied President Joe Biden's win. CLICK HERE TO READ MORE FROM THE WASHINGTON EXAMINER The case concerned whether the Pennsylvania Supreme Court usurped the Pennsylvania General Assembly’s authority in allowing greater access to early and mail-in voting throughout the state. That issue became a paramount concern for Republicans after many believed that Biden had unfairly benefited from expanded mail-in voting measures put in place because of the coronavirus pandemic. Xi Jinping, Joe Biden and Vladimir Putin. (Photo: .) “Murderer,” accuses Joe Biden, throwing the first stone. “You always seek to see your own essence in others,” replies Vladimir Putin, putting away the sling after the second. The verbal escalation of these days in the systemic confrontation between the US and Russia has put on the table one of the great debates of the new era in the White House: how will relations with Moscow be and to what extent will the string. But why doesn’t Biden do the same with his other great adversary, Chinese President Xi Jinping, whose regime is singled out by major human rights organizations as a repressor, torturer and censor? Because the fight with China is going in other ways, more sibylline, because it is not the time for direct attacks and because there is less guts and less personal anger in this clash than...

President Biden on Friday reminisced about his travels with Chinese President Xi Jinping after diplomats representing Xi at a summit meeting in Alaska delivered an anti-American diatribe and mocked Biden’s frequent claim to approach China from a “position of strength.” Biden did not acknowledge the shockingly harsh Chinese attack and instead launched into reflections on his relationship with Xi during a trip to Atlanta. “I was with Xi Jinping of China, spent more time with him I’m told than any world leader because he was vice president, I was vice president. His president and mine wanted us to get to know one another because it was clear he was going to become president,” Biden told staff at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. “I spent, traveled 17,000 miles with him in China and the United States and Asia generally, and met with him I guess they tell me 24-25...
Oliver Contreras/Getty Images CNN appeared to provide just one reference on Friday to President Joe Biden’s stumble during his effort to board Air Force One earlier in the day. “Earlier in the day, as he left Washington on a windy morning, Biden struggled to find his footing as he climbed the stairs of Air Force One, prompting a White House spokeswoman to say he’s 100 percent fine,” reporter Jeff Zeleny said as part of a brief report for Jake Tapper’s 4 p.m. program. “Arriving in Atlanta, he held the handrail, and left the plane with ease,” Zeleny assured viewers. The omission contrasted starkly with the network’s focus on former President Donald Trump’s descent down a ramp at West Point last year, which he traversed slowly due to “slippery” conditions. Biden mocked Trump for the incident at the time, saying, “Look at how he steps and look at how I step....
President Joe Biden went after former President Donald Trump - though not by name - in remarks delivered after meeting with members of the Asian-American community in Atlanta Friday.  'It's the coronavirus. Full stop,' Biden said, going after Trump for using a racist nickname to lable the pandemic.    Vice President Kamala Harris, who introduced Biden, also alluded to the ex-president blasting 'people with the biggest people pulpits' who are 'spreading this kind of hate.'  Biden and Harris had originally planned to be in Atlanta for a 'car rally' - a socially distant political event marking the passage of the $1.9 trillion COVID-19 relief bill. But Tuesday's spa shootings that left six Asian-American women dead - eight total - turned the trip into a visit to the CDC and an hours-long meeting with members of the community.   The president also took the opportunity while in Georgia to applaud the state for...

White House communications director Kate Bedingfield said Friday that President Joe Biden did not require medical attention after falling twice while climbing the stairs of Air Force One. “I know folks have seen that President Biden slipped on his way up the stairs to AF1, but I’m happy to report that he is just fine and did not even require any attention from the medical team who travels with him,” Bedingfield wrote on social media. “Nothing more than a misstep on the stairs,” she added. Tara Reade has blasted 'arrogant' Joe Biden for calling for an investigation into sexual harassment claims made against Gov. Andrew Cuomo - while flatly dismissing the allegations she made against him.  Reade, 56, went public last year, claiming Biden sexually assaulted her in a hallway while she was working as a Senate staffer in 1993. Biden vehemently denied the claim - but that hasn't stopped him from saying that all women should be believed.  When discussing the sexual harassment allegations against Gov. Cuomo during an ABC interview on Wednesday night, Biden stated: 'A woman should be presumed to be telling the truth and should not be scapegoated and become victimized by coming forward. There should be an investigation to determine whether what she says is true.' Biden added that Cuomo - with whom he has been friends for decades - could also be criminally prosecuted if an investigation yields evidence...

U.S. President Joe Biden has defended his dog Major following reports that he was bitten by a dog earlier this month. Biden said he was officially “out of his home” when he learned that his second dog, smaller than the champ, and both (German Shepherd), was the first rescue dog to live in the White House. He told ABC’s Good Morning America program, “You turn around and find two people you don’t know, and then they move, (the dog major) moves to provide security.” “The Major is now training in Delaware,” he said. Tucker Carlson last night raged at Democrats for failing to value American citizenship as he took his Fox News show to El Salvador to condemn Joe Biden's immigration stance.  Delivering his monologue from the Central American nation, Carlson denounced a bill on the House floor which would give undocumented immigrants a route to legal status if they have worked in US agriculture for at least 180 days.  'One hundred and eighty days. That's all it takes. That's all American citizenship is worth at this point, apparently,' Carlson said.  Raising the alarm over growing numbers of migrants at the border, he said: 'The message that the Biden administration has sent to El Salvador and the countries around it couldn't be clearer: The border is gone. We've erased it. Come join us.'  Biden sought to hit back at such criticism last night by saying in an interview with ABC's George Stephanopoulos: 'I...
President Joe Biden said he doesn't understand the 'macho' thinking of vaccine skeptics, as former President Donald Trump urged MAGA-world to get shots.  'I just don't understand this sort of macho thing about, "I'm not gonna get the vaccine. I have a right as an American, my freedom to not do it,"' Biden said in his ABC News interview with George Stephanopoulos. 'Well, why don't you be a patriot? Protect other people.'  Trump brought up that he respected people's freedom, but he also encouraged Americans to get the vaccine and admitted some anti-vaxxers were part of his fan-base.  President Joe Biden said he didn't understand the 'macho' thinking of vaccine skeptics in a new interview with ABC News' George Stephanopoulos  'I would, I would recomment it, and I would recommend it to a lot of people who don't want to get it and a lot of those people voted...
